We love fishing trout with a lindy rig and a foam head jig...same at putting the floating bead on your jig in this video. Works every time . But the foam head floater jig seems to keep those buggers from swallowing your hook whole

Those were some pretty brutal words for that nice chunky carp who was only trying to pitch in and help with your content. 🤣 I remember when you were grateful to have a big carp to suck up your corn kernels ! Thanks for the video Josh. It's always a pleasure ! ❤

I'm a senior 70 something, and I have done a lot of fishing from the banks of ponds and lakes as well as rivers..I have hooked up with a whole variety of different fish all over the country.... One fish remained on my bucket list... Trout... The closest I got was a little.mountan stream near Yosemite national park....he came charging out from the rocks and. hit my spinnerr hard....He didn't hook up and never could get him to get after it again... Trout bucket list..😑

A mini marshmallow on the hook with the corn keeps it kind of buoyant and adds flavor i assume. The lake stockers here in va love it. It works good in the river too.
@256bassfishing Жыл бұрын
Yo! That dropshot with bobber stops is actually friggin genius. I'm going to try that with one on and one below the hook so that it's adjustable depending on conditions, where they're suspending off the bottom, etc. Right on!

They make floating jigheads...we use em for walleye fishing we rig em with a leach and they crush em ....check out the dropper knot for drop shot fishing that's what I use with a snap swivel so I can change out my weight if I need to

Those stockers look wild! Most stockers have all there fins clipped/messed up and bland colors. Those looked pristine. I wonder how they kept them in such good shape before putting them in the pond.
@danielarias3755 Жыл бұрын
The big ones tend to stay on the northeast part of the pond, or the southeast part of the pond, the majority sick to where you are at, but the main part of the pond yields the biggins.

Hey man idk what the “right” way to drop shot is but the way I do it is I tie my hook in first with a Palomar knot with a super long tag end that you then tie you weight or crimp your split shit onto. But bobber stops seem to work nicely too.
