Do you even try to get the epoxy BETWEEN the crack in the boot? I use contact adhesive to join both sides of crack together and THEN coat with epoxy. Double seal is better than possibly none.

Seems it's often a carb issue/clogged pilot or cracked boot when all else fails. Great bike and great price. Previous owner will kick himself.

finally you got a nice bike, but change that boot, clutch, and mix it 32:1. clutch is slipping when you were riding it at the end. good content but your lacking in the mechanic end. dont ruin the bike like youve done with the others. if you lean out the oil/fuel mix youll need to rejet which we all know you cant do (ive watched your vids on and off for about 3 years). epoxy is a hack job fix but will get you through till you get the right parts. been waiting to see you turn your vids around and id say this is the perfect bike to start it on but then again old habits never die
