I've been a subscriber since you quit your job to fish and you did a few videos with the M F er. In any case what I wanted to tell you is for instances that you can't tell the water depth there is a product called IBobber . It is a rechargeable depth /fish finder. Just a recommendation. Fish On Stashholio!

Can you use cast nets for bait in your state?
@ACuriousSquirrel2 жыл бұрын
No. But they can use game fish as bait, though, which I think is weird.
@mattniedorf66012 жыл бұрын
You need a better rod holder like we use on the west coast rebar and PVC duck tape PVC to rebar leave a little of the bar sticking out of the top so you can hammer 🔨 it in the ground

I’ve started to look for the owner of the land when I find good spots on google maps. Asking for permission can really pay off sometimes. I have two spots now all to myself that have a no trespassing sign. They’re fantastic isolated sections of a fantastic river that I go to for multi species fishing and trout.

Not sure why, but I’ve been catching more flatheads on cut bluegill and shad than live bait this year. They seem to like a Santee-Cooper rig with a rattle where I am.

I was at my buddy's house this afternoon, about 6 miles from this spot. He showed me this spot on Google Earth. Says that's where he ends his kayak trips, and that there's a lot of folks do well there, but it's a little over fished. I decided to go check it out on my way home. I've been looking for other spots to try on this river. I'm pretty sure you guys were leaving as I pulled up and parked on the other side of the river. Good to know there's a decent sized flatty in there! I think I'll try it out when it cools off. This heat is bullshit. I always enjoy recognizing the fishing spots you hit up. Great videos!

By the way in all my 53 years I've learned that flathead prefer dead cut bait over live n the blues n channels prefer the live bait. Oh yeah and by the way I ounce knew a guy n I saw with my own eyes he put up no trespassing signs on his favorite fishing holes to keep people out n he did not have no right to do so. N by the way we fell out over that n I kicked his ass. Lmfao. Good luck n hope the fishing gods are on your side today.
