It was because of his Panther affiliation. Lots of kids who were Panther offsprings had different names when they were born and then had it legally changed to their preferred names. I don't believe Tut shot him. This is before my time, but both Tut and the actual shooter admitted that Tut did not shoot him, but Tut had a robbery crew that used to compete with other robbery crews, so sometimes they would take credit for licks they didn't do to keep their name ringing. To confirm this Tut and Jimmy Henchmen do not like each other to this day. Tut seems humble and truththful in jail
