The shop keeper’s great grandfather used to work in Mysore Palace’s Kitchen. The story is, one day the king had some foreign guests at palace. The king told the cook to prepare something special, and the legendary Mysore Pak sweet was invented. Great video :)

Here in India, you have to bargain for everything. But it is not easy to bargain even for an Indian. For me, I can bargain in Bangalore, Mysore & such places but if I go elsewhere, it is not possible without knowing the native language & local tricks. Davud is a smart guy. He has been in India only short time but has already learnt how to bargain and also make the sellers happy. He is very generous. Actually, he does not want to bargain, he only wants to make friends. Much love & respect ❤ 32:00 - I think the old woman didn't know what to do. When she got the money she was very happy, she was grinning. Poor woman who will give her money just like that! But after asked her age, she suddenly said "beda hogalo" (I dont want, go away). That was rude but I think she must have felt some game might be afoot and got defensive. Shopkeer scolded here and after that she knew it was OK and then she immediately thanked Davud... People whether poor or rich don't know how to react when a stranger is suddenly kind or generous to them.

Great video. I would like to say two things to you. When you bought eggplant the man said it was white brinjal. Brinjal is the British word while eggplant is American. Secondly, you didn't gift vegetables to the right person because she said she doesn't have a home to cook. A few bugs would have helped her buy some food.
