Usually their idea of big in these parts is one of those stubby oil tankers that were designed to get to remote places.

If you wonder why you get more bad days than good days, it's because you're like me and you're damn good at your job. They know they can throw the toughest, most tricky jobs at you and you'll still get them done the first time around and professionally to boot. It's a shame in the world we live in that those who cannot be bothered or slack off get the easier ride because employers will give them the easy stuff so they don't mess up.

I was about to say the exact same thing. It never ceases to amaze me how many drivers complain, and tell the office what they will and won't do... it's should be the other way around. You are there to work, only illegal work shouldn't be done.

I just want to clarify that the planning of this delivery was no fault of the haulage company, the company would of taken the same precautions I did and at no point were we informed the delivery was unsuitable for an artic. It was a breakdown of communication between the customer and suppliers. Cheeeeeers

KevTee I agree you did absolutely brilliant getting a artic along the narrow country lane’s as I kind of knew ur boss would not have sent you along there in ur usual lorry 🚛 as you would have been given not a van for the day but class 2 or whatever you call it not a full size lorry 🚛 but you would have got something a lot shorter for the day Pal.
