FierceONeill it’s scary how most of us see that as normal. We grow up going through it & seeing it around us, thinking you’ll do better..only to end up in the same mess and excepting it making excuses for the person.

For someone who’s dad coached youth sports and both of my older siblings were in sports, there are tons of youth sports parents who are just like that and it makes you wonder as an adult at how they are treating their kids behind closed doors.
@sderoski19 ай бұрын
I was behind the closed doors of a so called "perfect family" of "talented children" and the things that went on...when I was 3 or 6 how was I to know it wasn't normal to be hit with a hairbrush, or a shoe, or slapped in the face, or slammed into the wall - it was a nightmare, and I have no doubt that Tonya's life as a child was too.

0:24 In the present year it is wrong to hit a boy or girl with a hair brush. Child Care Services must take Tonya Harding away from her mama.
@AnnaBellaChannel3 жыл бұрын
The reason child service didn't take Tonya away from her Mother was to do with how gifted she was at skating. If child service took Tonya; she would have completed high school. Thus not become a skating prodigy and champion!
@mariancounsellor2 жыл бұрын
Children’s Services don’t just roll up and remove children from their parents. That’s a myth. I’m a Social Worker so u can tell you that first someone had to report it, there has to be evidence of either continuous physical abuse that’s deemed as excessive, injuries or combined with neglect, emotional or sexual abuse. A Social Worker still has to have enough cause to either get a child’s case to court or for the police to remove. Only in extreme or emergency situations can Social Workers just remove a child.

@@mariancounsellor I understand this. Unless Tonya Harding need psychiatrics treatment, including seeing a counselor over her abusive mom is something she must do.

Allison Janney is a fantastic actor and comedienne. But it was very difficult watching her play Tonya's mother... because Tonya's mother was so horrible a mother. (No one else could play Bonnie on Mom as well as she did.) And I love Margot Robbit too... both great actors.

Are you kidding me? Margot Robbie was phenomenal in I Tonya
@paulcolburn38554 жыл бұрын
Margot Robbie is not an actress. She is eye candy, a model, that is why they cast her on Pan Am that one season. Every role she takes, eye candy. Harley Quinn does not have to do anything other than look hot. If eye candy wants an Oscar then eye candy must take a role in which she is no longer eye candy (the way Charlize Theron did with "Monster.") Now having said all that, Margot Robbie did an outstanding job in this role. This movie was hilarious and she was excellent in it. It just wasn't Oscar worthy.
@GirlyGirlMsp4 жыл бұрын
Margot is definitely overrated. She does that terrible attempt at an American accent in every movie.
