Hi, your story is so much like mine in all aspects. I found out at 60 years old from a blood test that my Vitamin D level was 11. My regular doctor gave me 50,000iu once a week for 6 weeks. Over the past 10 years I have been taking additional supplements because I was housebound from a bad car accident, and did not get any exercise, nor sunlight. I have had Fibromyalgia since I was about 40, and that made things worse. It's been 10 years since my Vitamin D level was 11, it is now 72. I take the same three Vitamins, D3 at 15,000 and k2 M7 at 120, and magnesium glycinate 250. My Vitamin D levels have been good for the past 9 years. Your videos were great, very informative and helpful. Thank you. PS: I very rarely get sick even though my family members get colds and flu, I don't, so Vitamin D works.

Great video. Had similar experience, also been taking 10k vit d for maybe 3 years, which honestly seems like a needed treatment for "sunlight deficiency". There just isn't as much sunny days as there used to be, it's always cloudy here in the midwest. Also need to take into account that different brands of vitamins are different qualities, the best I've found use mct oil or coconut oil in the supplements. And absolutely nothing is better than a good food source and real sunlight. Artificial sunlight is not horrible though either, so led lighting with added uv spectrum, like lights made for growing plants.

I am taking 10000 vit d3 with k2 for over 5 years. Before that i was taking 5000 a day without k2. Early this year i tested my d3 and it was 75. I am staying in singapore, and i am in the sun for around 3 hours a day. This is very hot sun as this is in the tropics. I am diabetic for over 30 years. Many western doctors say to be in the sun for an hour is sufficient to get enough vitamin d3. Not true as it also depands on your body ability to make vit d for the body. Taking suplements also depand on many factors, the ability of your body to absorb it. I believe that for 10000 units of d3, your body may be absorbing a few thousands not all. Most important thing is to get your d3 levels checked before you do anything.

Vitamin D is incredibly necessary as a supplement for good health. Most people need between 5000 and 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily. A lot of it is based on body weight. If you have a larger build like many adult males over 150#, are obese or dark skinned you need at least 10,000 IU daily. The health benefits are dramatic, especially for infectious disease (viral infections, bacterial infections) as well as cancer. Video posts, doctors, comments, news reports all want to mention how dangerous are the effects of excess vitamin D. This is not rocket science. As long as you are not taking more than this does, you are fine. You would have to take more than 100,000 IU daily for weeks to run into a problem. Vitamin D is such a powerful health promoting supplement, and so inexpensive that the health industrial complex has made sure to try to terrify you of the possibility of excess so that you just say screw it, I’m not going to take the risk, and then you get sick, and then you go to your doctor, and then your doctor gives you pills, and then the health industrial complex makes money. Don’t fall for the rhetoric! Pop on down to the store and take 5000 to 10,000 IU of vitamin D daily and take charge of your own health.

IoM and Endocrine guidelines may change in future, but the upper limit on Vitamin D as of now is 4000 IU/ day unless ur doctor has told otherwise due to individual needs such as untreated vitamin D deficiency, obesity etc. Please don't spread misinformation based on anecdotal evidence. I'm glad that it has helped u, but that can't be recommended for everyone. IoM is for everyone. Individual patients need to discuss with their doctor in case they want to try some other dosage. More is not always better. I know many people in India who have 15-16 ng/ml without any symptoms. Let's not make anecdotal evidence as Science for everyone.

I just finished your course, and it was fantastic! Thank you for sharing!!! I have recently been diagnosed with Hashimoto's based on the comprehensive antibody tests I ordered. I also do my own Vit D test from CVS pharmacy ($38). I fired my MD and found a FNP I really like, and she put me on Armor Thyroid. The big question is, what causes the inflammation that triggers the immune system? I’ve never had mono, but my Epstein-Barr test results were off the chart high (called reactivation). I had 2 Covid vaccines (mandatory to keep my job), so I wonder if those triggered the EB that then triggered the Hashimoto’s which then triggered my cholesterol spike. ?? Epstein Barr is known to trigger Hashimoto’s. Hashimoto’s also increases cholesterol levels, so I am interested in getting the results from the tests I am taking next week. My biological dentist told me to STOP taking synthetic vitamins, and my vitamin D quickly dropped from 79 to 49 (it was 18, and I got it to 39, then 79, and back to 49). I’m going back to 5,000 IUs and 200 mcg of K2 (I have also been diagnosed with osteoporosis). The big question for me is what triggers the immune system, and from what you are saying, vitamin D can calm the inflammation, which will calm the immune system to help regulate Hashimoto's. Not sure if I have that tracked right but I'm going back to my Vit D.
