Tom what I like most about this video, is the fact an individual like yourself that has expertise and knowledge is prepared to take time out to actually educate someone who is keen and new to learning something they want to get into and enjoy and are not to afraid to ask, this to me is what fishing should be about, helping someone who is willing to take advice, making friends and learning from as kim put it a jedi like yourself, I've been fishing since I was knee high to a nats bum hole but I am still learning and by no means think I know it all, I myself am relatively new to the area and would love to learn more as I don't know everything about beaches around the area,I understand watercraft but wing it every time I go out fishing, but I would love to learn what I know and be able to be confident, not only on the venue but my approach, this should be highlighted that anyone thinking they can rock up and catch fish are mistaken it really isn't as easy as that nowadays as I'm sure you will agree to a novice tom, that does not have their finger on the pulse as it were, will not necessarily catch fish if they don't have half an idea of where that are fishing, which I am quite happy to own. Up to that rule and say I love to fish and I don't always catch but do always walk away blaming myself rather than weather/bait/location/tides etc. I always watch and hope to pick something up, but sometimes what makes the massive difference is who you go with, I need a fishing buddy that can show me the ropes as it were, I am not bothered if I catch a rockling to me it's more about friends who share your passion and that's fishing.

Thanks for taking the time to write such a wonderful comment, greatly appreciated. You're absolutely right when you say you can't catch every time. I've always said beach fishing is one of the hardest forms of fishing, everyone, regardless of experience or ability, can and will blank. Knowledge is of course key to minimising blank sessions. Picking and choosing the best locations for the time of year, tide and weather is crucial and this is something that can only really be gained by getting out there and fishing. That's why lucky sods like myself, who get to fish every week, usually twice a week, will often have a slight edge. Having said that, I'm always more than happy to share information I have to help others catch. That's a huge part of our sport, it's a wonderful community full of like minding people.

P.s. don't blame yourself. Always blame the weather, tides, moon phase, air pressure, gulls, tuna, mermaids, migration patterns of passing butterflies... well, you get where I'm coming from. 😉

This was immense, love how you always tend to add a spin to the fishing, rather than just another session. An idea for you. What about a Vs KZbinr Series? You could take on other content creators, Wayne etc... Anything goes, perhaps for a prize i.e. Chocolate.
