That Jet2 with no logo was a brand new A321 Neo. Jet2 are moving to all Airbus fleet over the next few years. They new planes come in from Airbus painted like that. They put them into service straight away and eventually they will have the jet2 logos put on when they get chance.

Done both in my time - took a morning flight out of New York last time and had to get up at 4am. It is nice being able to stay up late and not worry about getting up early the next morning on the last day of your holiday. Trick I use to avoid hanging around in my jeans - wear shorts then pop the jeans in your hand luggage. Then, when ya get to the airport, change into your jeans ready to get back to the cold

Had some dreadful turbulence coming back from thecStates once. My little daughter asked if we were going to die. The guy sitting next to her was watching us awaiting my reply. I just said, "probably not" as I wasn't entirely certain myself. But we did live to tell the tale.

Ah turbulence ! If they are continuing food and drink service you'll be fine. I flew a lot in the 90's - had moderate to severe turbulence in a 747 over Africa for over 3 hours on one trip (I understand due to limited alternates and restricted airspace) and quite a bizarre episode crossing the channel in a 737, when the plane almost went inverted due to a sudden extreme crosswind. Thousands of flights later - well I'm still here. Just be careful on the trip to and from the airport though, that really is dangerous

@Adamadam-tc1qg I'm no Einstein. however, cabin crew still serve, throughout turbulence. As service time, is centered around max altitude. ie. (minimal turbulence duration). Maybe, your joking. I can't tell. 👎 - MDK ✌️
