Fun fact: the guy who invented the polygraph would later go on to be one of the biggest advocates against the use of polygraphs when he figured out they don't actually work. The more you know 🌈

It's not that they don't work its just that you can be trained to resist and not do anything that sets the polygraph off, basically it works, but isn't accurate all the time and with training can throw its readers off

Just letting everyone know, these are pretty much just for jokes. Lie detectors dont really work! they just detect when you're nervous/anxiety, so doesnt really count. Like if they actually worked, they'd use them in court right? Makes sense. But these are still very funny, and can slightly guess if someones lying or not.

So... a bit of a correction here. Lie detectors do work most of the time. They just do not work this quickly. There are obviously the outliers, aka people who don't react when they lie. The guy that does these is already kind of known for lying about the true/false things for their content and stuff.

Fyi "John" doesn't do legit lie detector test. He's an entertainer first and foremost so he'll often signal what's funny and not what's correct. That's why he does polygraph tests for every creator. Also, polygraphs aren't reliable at all, that's why they're inadmissible in court. So if law enforcement ever tries to bully you into taking one, just refuse.
