@@1stchosenoneever It can be but that is what the point of the calibrating questions are for. They test his resting heart rate and a bunch of other complicated things like blood pressure. This is because when the normal human lies, we get nervous and raise our heart rate and blood pressure, but as we all know, laughter also raises it so I can see the inaccuracy. For the most part; however, it can get through that and if it can't usually they would wait for the person to calm down and stop laughing to get the results but this is for comedic sake and that wouldn't be "entertaining". So I wouldn't say its very inaccurate at all. I would say that it can show results that the human might think is a lie. After all, all the machine does is give readings, not if it is a lie or not.

For the question at 8:00, the moment PointCrow said "No" the lie detector guy wouldn't have been able to say it was a lie because he could've easily proven him wrong by choosing not to have another subathon. Conversely, if the lie detector guy says it's the truth PointCrow can't prove him wrong about anything because his answer to the question didn't register as a lie.

Questions were aiming at destroying even the strongest human stronghold on planet earth dedicated to streaming. He might have thought he would be able to throw some of these off, as they were aiming to relationship’s pillars and self’s integrity. It’s quite reasonable that he lied a ton, not to mention funnier. the answers that ended being true were shocking, but the lies ones were both funny and shocking, not gonna lie XD

To add to SteveMajors's point, if you were asked very personal questions (some VERY PRIVATE) you would probably try and lie as well. For example, the favorite co worker question, when you say someone is not your favorite it can hurt someone's feelings so lying would to be nice and not destroy the relationship with that person. So no its not sad, its human nature and he probably was doing what was for the best or trying to be funny to entertain his audience, as that is his job.
