Love that you enjoyed, but Chicago isn't as dangerous as most people think. Look up crime stats and you'll see we aren't even in the top ten. Media can trick people very easily. Chicago has some rough areas, but so does every other city. Chicago is also filled with diversity, delicious food, beautiful architecture, and really kind midwestern people.

There’s always some things you say in each of your videos that end up resonating with me. When you talked about the fear of lost opportunity of going anywhere without responsibilities like work, pets, plants or s.o. thats something I feel as well especially as I get more busy. Most of my travel is similar to your trip, I go alone but usually visit friends for some of the time, and I definitely enjoy both. I’ve been a bit burnt out on traveling since I’ve been going to so many places lately but this video made me excited to explore new places again!

Hey Coco, i cant thank you enough for this video. I wish I saw this sooner during my 1 month long trip last month. I felt so guilty and ashamed throughout the trip for having such free time while being unemployed after college. Peer pressure is real, seeing people around you securing six fig job while you are still clueless and behind in life is not a nice feeling. But, knowing im not alone in this has helped so much, so thank you for this video. We got this!

Hi Coco, thanks for sharing your writing and thoughts. It is a big step when graduation ends and the thoughts of what next creep up. Moments come before you as if by a miracle, and you find something which leads to other things. You already know creative people and your spirit and nature is one of creativity, all these magical things intertwine and connections are made. You don't need to worry, you just graduated and things have a way of happening. Wonderful things. It's important to do things like this trip, see new places, explore new surroundings, find a little peace. If you are up to it, may I suggest a trip to the art or stationery store to check out supplies. It was like pure medicine to me, sometimes looking was enough, leaving full of ideas and colours. I draw every day and sometimes little stories appear or characters waiting for me to write their history. I know you'll do well, listen to your spirit and when you need it, let it comfort you. Chicago is a wonderful city. It does get a bad rap, but for people who live there, they will tell you the press lies about the city. The food is great, and there is much to do. Over 10,000 types of pizza as well .

No offense, I think you shouldn’t have headphones on while on the streets. You’re not really aware of your surroundings, you would not know if you’re followed by having earphones on! There’s been women kidnapped by having earphones on walking or jogging the streets. Also look around before taking your cellphone out in the streets, if there’s a group of young guys, they might want to snatch your iPhone and run away!

I took my first solo trip recently and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. You'll learn so much more about yourself and realize what really makes you happy instead of going with the societal flow. It opens you up to new experiences and meeting new people, but at the end of the day, sharing your best memories with people you love is equally special. Also, downtown Chicago is not more dangerous than any other major city guys... just stay within the 3 highways that border the downtown area. Outside that area... eh, there are some certain bad areas you definitely want to avoid.

Great places to go. Great places to eat. Many things to do. So we get a bad wrap. One thing for sure. Democrats are destroying this city.
