My friend, don't stop only to visit Transfagarasan. Near Sibiu you can visit different things... for example Birtan village, Fagaras or Huneduara Castle, Alba Iulia citadel, Turda or Ocnele Mari Salt Mines. All off them you can find them in a proximity of two hour's front Sibiu.

Be careful. They just announced that some rocks fell on the Transfagarasan (because of the heavy rain) and the traffic is only going on one lane. Also, keep in mind that there is snow there, so if you rent a car ask for the winter equipment.

In Romania we have over 6.000 bears. Most of them live deep in the forest but there are many so called "begging bear". These lads are used to get "free meals" from the tourist. It sounds and looks like a coold thing but is not. ...anyway, the chances to encounter a wild bear in Transylvania's mountains roads are high to extremly high, depending on time.of the year and the area. I'm 90% sure that those guys from the end of the video have seen a mathafackin big brown bear. PS me looking forward to for the next adventure in the land of Dracula.

@@ZacJonesKZbin Pls do not try to cuddle or touch them, they could tear up ur arm in 0.05 seconds, remember they are wild animals. Also keep in mind that they outrun a human easily, even if you are Usain Bolt. :) Don't plan too much in detail your trip in Transylvania, everywhere you go its nice and cheap. I'm from Oradea, a town next to Hungaristan(Hungary).
