I am sure the tickets were bought months in advance, you cannot possibly find tickets to Nepal for 100 pounds especially when taking different random flights tickets get there. If you try and do that you'll end up paying 800 pounds probably if you're buying those tickets for tomorrow

I was thinking she could have used a vpn to get a local IP address for the airport. The next step, maybe she did flights that do multiple stops and just not take them. Sometimes you can get cheaper flights with layovers. Prolly allot of time was spent shopping for tickets, and checking with travellers for which days flights are cheapest. Again, allot of work and time, but doable.

Technically, the visa is only needed if you're going to be staying in Turkey. So as long as your next flight is taking you back out of Turkey and you don't intend on leaving the International Departures area of the airport, the visa isn't required.

@@typhoontim125 the surprise extra charges is the annoying bit with them. if you got check-in, you first pay quite a bit for that, and if it weighs a few grams over, they want to charge you 60-80 euro for overweight.. (once had 100 gram according to the airport scale, and they wanted to get 80 euro out of me for overweight... I took off a luggage tag and suddenly the weight was below 100 gram (minimum scale registration), and she was happy and checked in my bag :P (she was very nice and even put my tag back on after attaching the barcode strip)
