I just want to mention our son has made a beautiful recovery from drug addiction. He did three sessions of ibogaine, and lots of nervous system work. He’s found a beautiful life partner and is even in the awakening process for a few years now.

When Chris said " Without a body, without a mind there is still this beautiful, pristine consciousness. It's so subtle and so beautiful and so mysterious and there's no way to ...pin it down to what it is" I thought to myself, "Yep". I really appreciated this one.

Fascinating conversation. Many things could be said, but I’ll stick to one: As I’m listening to the details of this unfolding, I’m struck by how incredibly blessed we are in a historical way to have so much access to true teachings. Your book and channel alone, Angelo, to say nothing about everything else available, is a revolution in both wisdom and access. And, in the same frame, I can feel something else. I don’t have the right word, but a hunger/lack/need for the clarity of true step by step guidance in walking this walk. I feel both in this moment, the incredible gratitude for this opportunity, and the pain of navigating when I am so acutely aware of having only my own blindness as a guide. I expect I may eventually see this differently, but that’s the poignance I’m experiencing in this moment. Thank you both for this lovely and ringingly genuine conversation…

Love this interview. You should interview Scott Kiloby. He seems so kind and honest. I did TRE a couple of years ago. It was so helpful and mysterious. The body just knows how to proces tension through shaking without the minds assistance. The mind went: "what?"😄 Thank you 🙏

I watched the video “PAPAJI - Consciousness alone is” that she mentions and I understand it intellectually and sometimes experientially. Have had lots of experiences, different teachers, breakthroughs, but I can’t seem to really break through…sustain it. Slip back into forgetting, the ego, false sense of self etc. I can’t help but feel like I’m on the verge sometimes and also feel like I’m missing something. The feeling that I might be on the verge is often associated with fear. An ego death kind of thing similar to an ayahuasca trip. Midway through your book. Your book feels like a transmission.

how wonderful can a conversation be? I enjoyed everyt aspect in it. I’m deeply impressed how Chris volunteered to try those psychedelics to help her son, this is wonderful and I admit feeling a kind of jealousy about it, because I till now couldn’t help my children out of their immense problems - BUT this TRE gives me hope. My adult son had a horrible trauma when he was a little boy (my heart is bleeding). I had no idea and all his childhood and in his teenage years he was a such a difficult boy what brought many problems even between us. A year ago his partner told me about it. She found out because she is familiar with trigger situations. Even he didn’t know why he wasn’t feeling himself … So this TRE gives me hope for my immensely suffering son and who knows, maybe my adult daughter who has paranoid schizophrenia can get something out of it. So amazing what this awakening process brings along with it. Thanks for sharing. 🙏❤️

I just looked up TRE videos on the internet. The first one I found was a fellow lying on his back moving his legs. Seeing this I’m once again impressed by how everything is connected in ways that even the things you think are working against you are, in fact, working for you. Because I’m at the point in my recover from a pelvic fracture where I’m now doing physio. Physio that consists of me lying on my back moving my legs. Not the same leg movements as those in the TRE video. But certainly, ones I can incorporate into my physio as my leg strength increases. It’s nice to know the universe hasn’t given up on me.🙂

I have tried TRE and found it helpful too. I wish I had known earlier how beneficial bodywork is in trauma recovery and hence spiritual development. Yoga has been huge for me. Release technique, Lester Levenson has been the biggest for me. Letting Go, David R Hawkins. Lester Levenson achieved enlightenment through release of negative emotions alone. This interview is encouraging as there are a lot of commonalities between us. I think it's about releasing to uncover what has been there all along (and will always be there)

Thank you for another awesome interview. I found the topic of TRE really interesting. I actually tend to shake when I'm going through a really stressful event myself. I didn't realize it was a natural thing until watching this. I guess I never started to repress that or maybe I just don't repress it anymore. Also, I just had to second the sunrises at the retreat. I woke up that first morning and also gasped at how beautiful the sunrise was. It also just made me have this huge smile too and I stopped so many times on my way to breakfast to just stop and stare at it.

Her description of her first mystical experience is practically the same as what I experienced three years ago, almost down to the honeymoon period (mine only lasted two months, not three, I found myself taking particular notice of lol). But I was such an absolute mess when it happened and the transformation was so deep, it never felt like I got booted from the Garden of Eden when the bliss wore off. I haven't experienced depression since (a major issue before) or craved a substance (a major major issue). I was even telling some friends when it happened that I had been "put on the path"...which has the distinct odor of Zen Stink now lol A teacher like Angelo makes so much so clear. Happy holidays!

What an incredible interview, so grateful that Chris would share all these details of her experience in such an open and honest manner. So helpful. Although Chris charts out her course over quite a few years I know that she ( and I believe Angelo) believes that this does not have to take a long time. Aspiration is the key. Thanks so much, a real treasure trove.

1:35:17 - "It's like I almost don't have access to a range of emotions." So glad to hear this because I've had this most of my life... It's Christmas day and I'm on my own which is the safest and best for me because I don't get the emotions for bonding with people. I also have little interest in most stuff people talk about. From observation, I'm vastly different to people around me. This "lack" has caused untold misery which is what drove me to seek for the truth of existence... I was always wondering WTF is happening here... Why is life SO painful. I see now that awakening/moksha is the answer. Thanks for this wonderful interview and the laughter. I don't really laugh either which sucks. When with people I fake laugh so that I don't make people feel anymore uncomfortable than I already do. ♥

I had similar experience with Yin Yoga, mixed with some Kundalini separate classes, in 2016, that caused massive tension releases and ‘awakening’ experience and total change in who “I” was, and have kept going down rabbit hole since, incl. non-duality, etc….so beautiful. It was also nice to hear from someone who did Vipassana for a long time and experienced this-I sometimes think V is “superior” bc it’s so grueling it seems ❤🙏🏻

This interview was extremely helpful. All kinds of things are coming up from the shadows, especially rage (I didn’t know was there) & fear of death & physical suffering and it’s been very difficult in between subtle but blissful mystical-type experiences. Reality seems to be pointing to release old trauma in the body-mind. I loved hearing Scot Kiloby’s name as I just found him yesterday and have been listening non-stop - coincidence? 🤔 I will definitely be trying TRE. Thank you so much for another great interview 🙏🏼💖

I want to add that the subtle bliss type states in between have now lost all meaning. The first shift changed my life in so far as it did, but there is SO much here that hasn’t let go. Great conversation. I believe the body and one's health are really important and often ignored components of spirituality. My experience with TRE has been that it corrects things on a deep and otherwise inaccessible level. I don't know exactly what it's doing but I can see direct improvement in my immune system as it wrestles with chronic Lyme and co-infections. I imagine it helps the body optimize for whatever one is here for. Keep spreading the word, Chris.

There are so many delightful moments in this talk I found deeply relatable. Your experience with dmt and its subsequent insight mirrored my own single experiment with dmt and had me in a fit of laughter along with you. 😂 I've never heard anyone else describe their experience in a similar way to my own. Boy was I mistaken about having made peace with any fear of dissolution. Yikes! And the instantaneous realization I am not going to be able to leave this issue alone because it is acutely unavoidable. 🤣 But, yes, harrowing is a very apt word for it. I personally think that’s another concept? I also see lot of repetitive numbers 9:11 or 11:11 like it’s been years & someone said it’s because you are close to awaken. I was excited to know that but now as I hear more I think all that is just concepts. Please validate these for me ❤

Even though looking back I've been on the spiritual path all my life, it has only been this year that I've seen real positive progress. I'm definitely what most would consider a newbie. Watching this video is a little discouraging. Chris had been actively pursuing spiritual practices and it took several decades to reach the end stages of third density consciousness. When I first started doing mindful meditation regularly earlier this year, I had a strong positive response. It felt right. Pretty soon, however, it seemed very flat. It didn't feel like I was growing. In fact, engaging in mindful meditation left me depressed and feeling awful. What I discovered is instead of using mindful meditation, I can use self-directed meditation to make myself feel better. I am very aware how contradictory these two practices are. One has the goal of realizing the true self through the disidentification with thought, the other has the goal of creating higher vibrational thought forms in which to pour the higher self. Is this a good practice alternating between mindful practices such as meditation and self-inquiry and the easy gratification of practices such a as affirmations? I understand that ultimately thought will need to be disidentified with in order to experience the full true self, but this seems like a good buffer to keep from being discouraged. After all, if I'm going by my personal experience, self-directed, thought stimulating practices feel much better than mindful practices.

Most interesting bro. I ended up doing the same thing as you. After several years of wafting in and out of various non dual approaches, I - apropos of nothing - just started inserting all manner of super positive thoughts into my thought stream. Dunno why. Maybe because I suddenly realised that I could. Or perhaps I simply got bored with feeling like I was in some kind of mental waiting room. Anyway, sugar coating thoughts is quite easy compared to the boot camp of daily self enquiry. You can really build up some groovy momentum. But no two ways, the self enquiry process is here to stay, it's just that I'm not that fixated about whether it will lead to anything. I mean, I've clocked up a baker's dozen of ontological heebiejeebies along the way but so what. I'm more than happy to let it do whatever it does whenever it does it. In the interim I've found that just by closely observing what thoughts I allow to set up shop and putting a positive spin on whatever happens - life seems so much easier, trustworthy and pleasant. And I've become much more friendly and compassionate to others as a result. Being nice and open to other people is an awesome trip especially for someone who has spent a life time avoiding others. Gosh, the sun is shining and while it's smiling down upon the world I'm not overly fussed about whether various ancient sneaky thoughts are causing me to feel separate from the thing, coz it's all good buddy. So thank you for sharing. WooHoo!

@@WhirlpoolFarmer That's where I'm at. My concern was that encouraging this self-directed meditation and humanistic feeling good would hinder my enlightenment. But I'm going to focus on the fact that enlightenment is inevitable whether in this life or one of the nexts.

Thanks for sharing. 🙏 "Awareness is never apart from sensation - such as sound and light or color." (My paraphrase). Do I have this right? I guess I never thought of awareness being apart from anything. (I'm still trying to translate the various references on this wonderful channel from the words or terms I am accustomed to.) I suppose what you two are saying is that some teachings or pointings imply that awareness IS separate from this? 🤔 (So funny, Christina, 😅I guess if you spend enough time with Ramana Maharshi teachings and entering into that vibe, you pretty much end up wondering if maybe you are actually dead already.😅I hope you understand I am not laughing at you, but I did relate so much to what you shared. 💛)

There's something about the way she talks and moves that feels like... something. I remember you interviewing another man who had recently awakened too and he has this exact same feeling.
