I tore my distal bicep tendon a year ago. Six months of recovery with 3 of those months being physical therapy. I was curling 160# for 6 reps before the tear. Over a year later and I'm back up to 110# for 6.....Good luck on your journey. The key is to progress very slowly....and see how you feel the next day.
@TheRascal56786 жыл бұрын
Why are you curling that much weight? literally the only reason you would be curling that weight is if you are doing some kind of strict curl competition but even then its retarded
@MrPrestige3506 жыл бұрын
I honestly wasn't trying for a goal. I would curl 135# on the straight Olympic bar for a long time. I got to the point I was getting 12 strict reps after years. I wanted to do 1 or 2 sets where 6 reps were difficult, to continue building strength, and 160# seemed to be the amount 6 reps were difficult for me.

everyone saying "oh don't do dumb stuff Calum!!!!!!!!!!" I'm pretty sure he curled that knowing fully how dumb it was so it's not like any of you are teaching him anything
@LorenzoStroe6 жыл бұрын
He wasn't curling that much tho. 400 lbs between 2 people if evenly distributed is ''only'' 200 lbs which he is capable of curling.
@noodles27326 жыл бұрын
Lorenzo Stroe it’s not 200 divided evenly at all. He’s taller than Chris is and had longer arms than Chris does. This means that there’s gonna be differences in leverages, etc. So the weight isn’t divided evenly, Calum actually had a greater distance to curl the weight so he lifted more of the weight because he would have had to keep curling while Chris was stopped, and this difference in leverage is why he tore his bicep and Chris is fine
@mysticbeing67686 жыл бұрын
Lorenzo Stroe he can’t strict curl 200
