For 27 m, is might that too much, but i think is not a bad as those some 100m mansion in Homeless ridden infested California Manhattan beach, for upper class, with that oceanview and interesting Polynesian architectures, with abundant outdoor natural lights receives, i think money are way better well-spent on this i guess...

They’re way under 1%… guessing around $14k annually (barely over $1,000/month). I’m guessing the caretakers salaries, property maintenance and utilities are going to be more painful; and that might not be an issue for someone who can pay $27M for a property (definitely out of my league).

I believe they are willing to stay, but even if not, you'll have no problem finding someone capable! By 5th structure, do you mean the one sort of in the center? It's a pavilion and storage.

I would settle for having a 1 bedroom plus loft perhaps 250 square foot fifty thousand dollar tiny home on just this lot to visit if not live in. Only thing missing here would be a sandy beach and access to it but guess you can't have it all jajaja.

Everything will definitely cost more. A lot of places are reasonable on shipping, while some custom order establishments will add profit to shipping.

I'd say its pretty much always safe, while at the same time, sharks can be anywhere. Typically they are not in wading deep water here.

I love it all Mike, my only concern Sir is land erosion from the waves. I can see that there is a wall built to help with this…but…I do notice some.

It will take tens of thousands of years for that. Erosion isn't the problem, but we gat big waves that splash. That's what the wall is for.

I guess you have to answer yes, but that is for every property in the state, since the Hawaiian Islands are all volcanic. All properties are built on past lava flows. Lava has not flowed here in hundreds of years.

@@HawaiiRealEstate i am in a wheel chair, so i would need elevators to get onto the second(s) floors of those building. except for that one small area, is there any other areas that i can not access? from he video all the entrances look level. a three or foot lava rock wall would look great surrounding the property. add a four bedroom servant structure to complete the compound. would there be problems getting the permits to do all this? hawaii gets funny about building on the islands? . . . yes, i would insist that any new building look like all the others. "if" you happen to walk the property again please keep in mind that i am in a wheel chair and any rise or fall greater then an inch and a half is a problem. i will not be using the property much for entertaining as i would for luxury and comfort in my final time on this planet. in reality, i am 64, how much more time can i have?

Wrong island and that house used for the exterior on Magnum P.I. was on the east side of Oahu and has since been demolished and redeveloped. Everyone knows that Higgins was really Robin Masters.

We have pest control for that! A lot of us here have houses that are open with huge sliders, so we are used to it. Nobody really cares too much about geckos out here to be honest. That's a mainland thing.

We have a couple property tax rates for a property like this on Hawaii island. There's an owner occupant rate of $6.15 per $1,000 of assessed value. There is also a non-owner tax rate of $11.10 per $1,000 of assessed value, and $13.60 per $1,000 of assessed value over $2M assessed value. Right now it's $54k per year.
