I'd love to see you add some saplings into your forest - not the vanilla ones, but like, baby trees! IRL old growth forests have trees of varying ages. You could also possibly make some trees look older by replacing parts of their trunks with moss and by adding either slabs or mushroom blocks on them

Ive been watching Minecraft practically since the game came out and I never saw anyone build custom trees until watching you when I stumbled across the videos around the time HC S2 began. At first I didn’t understand why you’d spend so much time changing biomes when you could use that time to add more buildings, but watching you transform a biome like this (as well as the birch and seeing your future plans on stream) just puts everything in perspective for me. It makes the world seem way more immersive and more like you’re building your own RPG game rather than building inside an RPG game if that makes sense 😂

What I don't understand is why play hard-core. Every hard-core series these days has farms for endless totems, maxed armour and, just like this video, they don't do dangerous things.

This is, again, really breathtaking. Especially if you take into account how much time it takes to do something like that. It's, like you pointed out, not just the building alone. It's the planing, the trying out, the resource gathering, the choping down the old forrest, the terrainbuilding. What an efford. But it's totally worth it. It's just beautiful.
@laerite
@laerite 3 ай бұрын
love the forest! totally agree it should be easier to ride horses through forests, but it does pose the eternal question - do you want trees that are easy to chop, or pretty and tall trees. Imagine the floaters people would leave if trees were all as tall and detailed as those lmao

If you need any ideas I have got one for you. You could consider adding a "dead tree" into your forest build by using the mangrove roots as leaves. Maybe it looks cool or it is just a stupid thought I do not really know.

Might be cool to add some strings of lights from tree to tree criss crossing over the path. The sides would stay wild, but the path would get a more fantasy/magical forest vibe
