Anybody else enjoying the slow, yet steady, descent into paranoid mania Kibitz is experiencing? Just the steady descent into the classic paranoid ruler. HAIL KIBITZ

That's almost a George Carlin quote. "The upper class keeps all of the money, pay none of the taxes. The middle class pays all of the taxes, does all of the work. The poor are there... just to scare the shit out of the middle class. Keep 'em showing up at those jobs." - George Carlin

One minute in, and I'm already seeing so many parallels to the real world. It's like you rolled every political association from every country in the world into one city. Fear for the citizens, and money for the elites. As it is all across the world.
@brandonylion2 жыл бұрын
Yup, thought the same thing.. "Things have only kind of worked out so far because the poor people are so busy they can't think, the middle class people are scared of being poor, and the rich people are just paranoid" Couldn't have said it better myself.

The prison system is quite... dark, in the way you're running it. Love it. Anyways, your citizens better hope they're acting all according to what is expected and needed, since now they have a final place to go - doubtful that any reports are getting out of that complex. That said, a lower security prison area at some point would be neat - perhaps next to an area of high density and low income citizens, in that small ore area? That way the high security one can be there Just In Case while the low security one does its work on the less extreme criminals.

Noticing that a river inlet flooded with sewage was taking ages to clear after moving the outlet, how to make it go faster? Village Poo. Put a water pump in there and connect it to just a sewage treatment elsewhere. Zone a residential area that uses only this pump. They get sick and die but it clears the sewage quicker. Feeling sad for the simcitizens requires a clinic and crematorium in the area, but then they live a bit longer and don’t clog the rest of the city with their sick and dead.

If you are desperate for more "criminals" to put in your new prisons, you can apply a few policies. One increases the crime rate (and happiness), another increases punitive sentencing.

I kind of expect our best bet for that is hoping that Age of Darkness gets the polish and updates it needs to be a successor for TAB. I love the game, and I think it's the reason I found this channel in the first place- but Kibz kind of ran the gauntlet on what he could really do with the game. Don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled to see another mini-series show up, but barring something huge in the modding community revitalizing that game I don't really see it happening.
