I didn't pay. I asked if I could use the phone to call my lawyer so that he could deal with the situation. He asked if my lawyer was in Canada. I said, "No." I have a Tanzanian lawyer here in dar es salaam, and I need to inform him of the situation. They suddenly gave me the phone and said that they were issuing a warning to me and that I didn't have to pay the fine. As soon as I migrated the office to my visa and business registration, I would be free to go.

Yes, I agree with you 100%. The best form of advertising is word of mouth. If you post a video of a certain place, someone might see the video and decide to visit. When you restrict video taping and photographs, you limit your countries exposure.

What restrictions? Its No different than the West, i don't think you can take videos of government offices, courthouses etc and people without their permission. I don't know why those who come here from Yurugu Societies think its acceptable to not adhere to others privacy.

@Aeon1019 you take too personal , now lets talk logics , let me ask you, , example, go and watch Im Marwa recently came to Tanzania, at new train station , he got rejected even to take pic at the new SGR train station outside the building, There are tanzanians from OMAN drove from OMANI who been doing tour to Tanzania complain about the same things, most of the place , everywhere you not allowed to take pics, or video, even WODE MAYA was complain the same thing, its to much restrictions, unnecessary restriction, everything permit, you have permit, do you have permit, taking picture at SGR permit, no billboard or indications about prohibitions of note taking pic, then getting arrested and aked to payb $200 isnt that scamms ! educate me about it, rememebr its 2024 now, this is not 1960 and we living in the world of competition, if TANZANIA has unnecessary restrictions, people will go to Cape Town, Kenya, ,Namibia, Egypt, let mr remind you, Kenya was trying to follow the same path ESECIALY DURING kenyata ADMINISTRATIONS , RUTO came to office he strategized and allow people to be free and any public place people are allowed to take pics, and video because their Tourisms industry was falling and many tourits opted for TZ instead of Kenya, remember KZbin IS VERY POWERFUL TOOL, 2024, i dont know if youre aware just youtubers can literaly destroy the WHOLE TOURISMS of any country, just youtubers, KEnya then they relialized tourists opt for TANZANIA , botswana , and suth africa , i recognize Tanzania has magnificent beauty and has eccentric natureal beauty, but if lets say somone spends $2000 to come as tourist and either is not allowed to take a pic, lets say in Train, or in down Town , in kariakoo Market , how you promote tourist, at least it must be some adverts to indicate tat no Tourists is allowed to take a pic in the country, so people knows from where tey from if its worth, because to me its contrations, if our president spend millions of Money on Royal Tour and encourage investors to come and investors to com to your county and then same people either visit or invest arent allowed or must take peic secreted, honest to me thats like the people who ask for those bribe let down Dr SAMIA SULUHU HASSAN , and im sure if she get theat news she mught definitely fire such officials who ask for $200 because a tourist took a pic of building, thats so backward and uncivilized, now, im waiting for yu to educate me about it, NO EMOTIONS, lets go toe to toe,

​@@Aeon1019 Country like South Africa , you can literely take pics any where anytime, In ZIMBABWE is where they have such thinking your mindset, where officials ask for money because an individual take a pic of a building.... in 2010 i was arrested in Ximbabwe because took a pic infront of building, and asked me $300 in ZIMBABWE is worse, and that taught me never to set foot in Zimbabwe ever, place like NAMIBIA, SOUTH AFRICA, no such mindsets , no wonder SOUTH AFRICA always leading in tourisms. if you dont want people to take pictures while to promote your tourims , you add in on your adverts tat yall Tourisms can come to my country and com spend money , but you not allowed to take no pictures nor videos , all we need is your money.. so what im saying by ​ @Aeon1019 , learn to promote your country, people have options, tourisms is cometations, investors have options and the power of social media is very big, go to social media see how people crushing your country TANZANIA ,,, you wouldnt dare to make such immature comments , perhaps you unaware of whatsa going on on youtube, this man JUMBE always doing positive videos , he does positive criticism, TANZANIA need direct investors, investors come with different levels, thats why your country has Class A, B, C ..anyone invest in a country want to be felt welcomed, my sister invest in TANZANIA, and im hoping you dot represent the rest or majority of TANZANIA, because are known to be good and welcomed people, and not intimidating people , at lastly, remember Tanzania is sorrounded by KENYA (his sister, and rivarly at the same time especially for tourism sector ) , as you Tanzanian can make your country being one of the country easy to do bussiness, no country make without direct investors, even USA need investors,
