I really love this approach! As I've gotten older, I'm more conservative with the risks that I take and forgot to just try things for fun and with an open mind instead of always having structure. This allows so much more freedom and I think it takes me out of the "paralysis by analysis" mindset that I get stuck in and then convince myself not to do it. Thank you for the wisdom, Sophie. I was putting pressure on myself that felt no good. My word is consistency! I have a few broad goals for this year like focusing more on savings, following a stricter low buy, cooking more healthy home meals, and the ever difficult task of balancing hobbies, friends, family, work, and other general life and societal expectations! All that to say, I do believe being consistent and sticking to a plan, or even just sticking to journaling and therefore creating more plans, is the key to any success. So here’s to consistency! In the way I show up for present self, my future self, and for all others in my life!!

I think this video is exactly what I needed to see. Looking back on 2024, I realize I’ve accomplished a lot, but I’ve also been way too hard on myself. I’ve dwelled on past mistakes and worried about the future, and as good as it is to have goals and make plans, it’s also important to enjoy where we are right now. My 2024 was a year of change and challenge... I was made redundant, my illness got worse, injury, gained weight, loneliness, etc. I was looking for a words for 2025 and (sorry) I will take the same as yours: COURAGE! Also, when you said to take life as an experiment that was the biggest wake-up call for me. I was thinking to start my business but a lack of self confidence was stopping me to do it and when you said "experiment" a light bulb came up in my head. You are so different that the other KZbinr, you inspired me and I can see in the comments section you inspired a lot of people. I will have to re-watched to make sure I catch everything.
