Do you foresee this being made available to a wider range of people at some point? I appreciate how @bryanjohnson has been able to make his program more affordable and serve a community of everyday people. I know nothing about business and have never run a company, so my comment is not a critique. The program looks amazing.

The video ended so suddenly, I thought there will be more talk about how/did your sleep improved 😅 but anyway, it was helpful, it reminded me about things that I already heard like dim light, no scrolling but your videos are really inspiring so I might even stop scrolling in bed (hard one). The older I get, the more I prioritize sleep so I really appreciate that you touch on this topic. What is interesting is that they didn't say anything about food, like what helps us fall asleep easier, what not etc but I guess that's because you don't find it difficult to fall asleep 😅 Anyway, thank you Shervin, you're doing great job for those who can't afford/don't have time to dig so deep in health/training topics

I have recently subscribed because I was initially looking to get an🍎 watch. I ended up getting the ultra 2 because of your videos and wanting to live healthier lifestyle but wanting to track it. I have to say it’s super helpful, but my sleep is terrible. Literally only sleep about 4 hours a night.

@@ShervinShares I do EVERYTHING by the book. Been studying from sleep experts for 30 years. Keep track of all the updates. Low body fat, don't drink alcohol or coffee.... just can't sleep. Always... always exhausted

Everyone needs to get checked out for sleep issues, I know bloodwork is what everyone obsesses about. But these guys are correct, CPAP might seem like an awful sentence but if you can get your sleep under control your life will change for the positive.

Nice keeping to Friday uploads! I like experimenting series and I'm curious to see longer term how your sleep is affected based on individual stimulus (like caffeine before 4pm vs 2pm for a month). I know Attia does 2 diff kinds of magnesium supplements for sleep. Trazadone helps but clogs my nose so uncomfortable. But recently I've tried out THC gummies (wyld) and pretty much stopped waking up in the middle of the night.

There is so much wrong with how sleep studies are done/scored right now. Dr CG widely recognized as the father of sleep medicine said in one of his podcasts that - almost everyone has some degree of sleep disordered breathing similar to almost everyone having some degree of plaque in their heart. Does it need to be fixed? First problem - all sleep studies are scored differently. Depending on who scores them, you could have 20% variability in the numbers. Dr Jerald Simmons is the absolute authority on this and you can find his podcasts online to learn more. With regards to the fix, This idea of “less intervention” by nasal strips doesn’t have a lot of backing to actually improve AHI/RDI. It may mildly help but most likely won’t move the needle enough, Mouth guards are terrible terrible, there’s ample data out there that shows long term mouth guard use will actually change your bite needing more intervention. You should only try and fix your sleep if it’s actually broken. The time tested treatments to improve it are cpap and jaw surgery. In both these cases, the positives will far outweigh the cons. Regardless, thanks for bringing awareness to how important sleep actually is for overall health

What helped me sleep better is taking magnesium 1-2 hours before bed time and sleep with noice cancelling earplugs since then i dont wake up randomly at night and wake up fully refreshed ofc all other things count to as doing 3-4 times a week sport eating healthy drink only water and yeah thats about it lol.

This video was so relatable.. i was told by a psychologist that i possibly had ADHD but never got tested as it costs thousands. Ive been told by my partner that im a mover when i sleep and when tracking my sleep i always get very little REM or deep sleep .. Interested to hear that increasing dopamine could help you stay in these cycyles for longer

"Everybody uses alcohol from time to time. Caffeine from time to time" No and no. Very fit 8-10 % body fat, and I still snore loud enough to wake people down the hall, 6 out of 8 hours a night.
