This time of the year a lot of fish go to the warmest water they can find in the afternoons so look for shallow bays with sunlight. I dont know about mornings until usually May.

I dip my entire worm in the bottle and then pull it out. I use it about every ten casts or so. I generally use something that has anise oil in it. That flavor even works for corn for carp fishing.

I got a St. Croix spinning travel rod that is pretty good I only use it a few times a year on vacation. It doesn't come in a tube though. I have an old tube from a rod that I broke I use it in that. I mostly go catfishing and carp fishing and when I go fishing for bass around where I live it's usually off a wall or bridge so I use a heavier rod because I have to lift a fish twenty feet through the air a lot.

I actually caught a fish right around Christmas last year. It was the first time other than when I lived in Denver that I even went fishing that month. It was seventy today but I worked out my arms so I didn't go fishing and it's supposed to maybe snow tonight and be about thirty-five degrees out I might just go walking tonight to see if the carp are coming close to the shore yet LOL.

I think you should find out if they have a volunteer program for building piers on that lake maybe the college donates the wood, nails, and hammer. I once put up over thirty piers at a Baptist Resort that i worked at for the summer.

I think that bait fuel works to a certain extent. But I still think that working a lure without it is better.

I went to my local ping over the weekend, spawn had already started 3+ lb bass upshore many baby bass swimming so I think it happened a while ago, anyways there was a solid 2 pounder, that fish and a one pounder chase it for fun, they just chased it and hit it but never took it 😭😭😭 a dish has never played with my emotions like that

Man u coulda explained how fishing has thrill of catching something out there in the water with all different sorts of lures. There lots of knowledge and experience to be had, to be a good fisherman. Catch and release is also a mock representation of what you could catch if you had to catch your own food and not everybody can catch fish like sombody that has knowledge of fishing.
