I think your braidout came out really nicely. I've never been able to make that style work for me. Braids do something weird to my natural curl pattern and I end up wishing I'd done a wash n' go or chunky twistout.

I honestly love how it came out, especially the back. And I agree layers would suit you

I love how it turned out. I am somewhat of a straight hair natural but only every few months. Mostly cause It takes a lot out of me to straighten my hair. I have damage too in the back but I can scrunch that part and it curls lol.

I recently cut my hair into long layers because I felt like I had no shape and I like it so much better!! I think the braid out turned out really good, ina few days it’ll probably have more volume. That might be why you weren’t feeling the middle part 💖

I don’t have heat damaged/heat trained hair, but if I do my braids like that my braid out comes out the same way. I have better success with larger braids, or corn rows, which I am not good at. I need to pick up some of those little rollers you have for the ends! That looks much better than how mine look when I braid down to the bottom. 😅😅

@candice celeste. Wait wait wait.... you did a video 5 months ago...saying you were done with your natural hair. But you talking about heat damage. Im confused. Let this "make sense" so i can continue to rock with you.

Because I wear my hair straight majority of the time, I have heat damage. Some subscribers have asked to see what certain styles look like on my heat damaged hair so I made a video. What’s not “making sense”?

Girl just cut it off. cut it all off. you will feel so much better. It's okay to start all over. why hold on to what you need to let go? you are not your hair.

If she's not her hair, then cutting it all off is not needed either. People do what they want to do with their hair. It's literally just strands that grow out of our heads. Not everybody is deeply attached to their hair
