im curious what this would look like on top of a silk press to avoid additional heat

The tool still heats up, it just blows out cool air on the outside so when you curl it sets the hair abit better. Would still get just as much heat damage as anything else

I don't put any heat over about 330F on my natural hair or I get heat damage. Just because the tool says over 400F is okay for "thick hair" doesn't mean it won't damage your hair.
@vitor82402 жыл бұрын
That’s not right. If you use a really good heat protector you won’t get a heat damage!
@belledej75552 жыл бұрын
If you got thick hair, does it even get as straight as you want it?
@Kubulek172 жыл бұрын
The 400f suggestion is to get the result you want, it rarely has hair health in mind
@KC-ed1dj2 жыл бұрын
@@belledej7555 My hair gets very silky straight at 330F setting. Anything higher is overkill. The curliest texture on my head is 3C. I think everyone should start at lower heat setting and gradually raise if you aren't getting results you want. Think about how hot your kitchen oven gets at 425F. There is no way you can tell me that much heat isn't damaging hair.
@belledej75552 жыл бұрын
@@KC-ed1dj where did you learn this from? That anything higher than 330F is a overkill?

I never understood what temperature to use heat tools on because they all have heat instructions for all hair types except fine/wavy or curly together. Do you use an in between temp?
@queenchelseaa Жыл бұрын
I would say based on the straight results of your hair this tool isn't ideal for a silk press bone straight look and from watching your other videos on hair straightening. In the other it's very ideal for curling hair because of the cooling feature. This is a cool tool. So what are your top favorite tools for your hair?

I guess the title is a little misleading cause it blows cool air but uses heat to curl. She mentions the heat setting before she gets to that part.

Thanks for the video. I love it when you test products. I have been a fan since the split ender video. Do you still use all the good tools you have. Just asking. Curious 🦋 🧐 and cheap okay frugal.
