Because of you I just got a blow dryer brush and I love it! One thing I think you should prepare your audience for when recommending this is how much hand strength it requires. I know you have a considerable following of more mature women (I'm 46 myself), so I think they need to be prepared that they might need to build up hand strength over time. You probably don't notice it because you've done it for so long, but my hand is really tired and achy by the time I get to the last few sections of my hair. I think this is part of the reason why women may not get their hair completely blown out with this and end up with inferior results. Loving your channel. I love the mature skin makeovers and budget-friendly product recommendations!

I have a different hair type. Thick medium-coarse, wavy hair with lots of volume but with frizz. So my #1 hair tool is my Instyler (Wet to Dry Version). It straightens, reduces frizz, maintains volume and doesn't tire your arm out because the iron part rotates so your arm doesn't have to. It straightens without flattening your hair because the iron is round, so it doesn't FLATTEN the strand like a flat iron. It's like a round brush and flattening iron in one, but the rotation is doing the work.

This tool was a game changer for me. I’m an older lady and have a great deal of trouble holding both a round brush and a blow dryer. I never got a good blowout result. I resorted to just blowing out til damp and then finishing with Velcro roller but that took a while to dry. Otherwise I’d completely dry and then use hot rollers but often got more curl than I wanted. I use the blower brush now always as a first (sometimes only step) and sometimes follow up with other tools like a curling iron, but it really looks great with just the blower brush. Thanks for the video. I picked up some tips, like using the clips and the cooling setting.

I used a blow out brush for a long time - off and on for 10 years, before I finally gave it up for good. I started way before heat protectants became a thing, so that might have been a factor. More thoughts: 1)The bristles on this brush are different from those I used, maybe that helps it work better than the blow out brushes of yore. 2). The air blows out from the center of the brush instead of directing it down the shaft of the hair as you would with good blow dry technique. That cross wind on the hair shaft over time roughs up the cuticle giving a “dull” appearance. The shaft of fine hair is very slender, extended exposure to the crosswind roughs up the cuticle destroying the shine and generally trashing the shaft, leaving you with a mess. 3) Most of the damage came from months of repeated use, not just a few days, so report back after 6 months using it 4-5 days a week. Until then, I’m withholding judgement. Personally, I’d use it as a one off for special events, but not day in, day out. I’d love to get an update after you have used it long term, because maybe, just maybe, they’ve figured it out with this one. 🤞 I’m a big hair lover, too! This would be so nice.

I recently got one of these brushes. I have damaged my curl pattern with ceramic in the past so I was afraid to try them, but I was blown away. Ooooh! I am definitely going to snag this! For several years I've used a similar Conair blow-brush because it has multiple heat/speed settings and a cool setting, and it's very gentle heat, but it does not have the titanium barrel. I recently tried a T3 model recommended by another influencer, but didn't really care for it - the brush heads are plastic, the handle is very wide so made it hard to grip, and the buttons are right where you want to put your hands (so I was constantly changing heat/speed on accident). Thanks so much for the excellent tips and recommendations - you've changed my fine hair game for the better :)
@GlamGirlGabi2 жыл бұрын
I didn't even know that T3 had a blowout brush! I am mind blown! I have a T3 curling iron that is good but the clip is small and its weirdly designed so often times the hair gets caught on the wrong part of the tool. It's so annoying! Sounds like you are having a similar design issue with the blowout brush. I hope that you love it as much as I do.

Circling back: I was looking for a newer dryer. Decided to take GABI up on the gracious offer. I live in Ohio. With discount and shipping it was $30 bucks - YES $30!!!!! I have been using it regularly. I like it better than my older one. I have fine thick natural born blonde hair and at times look like I just stuck my finger in a light socket. This hair dryer certainly helps tame that. I’m hoping GABI will do a video on her after shower hair products that help with frizz, shine, etc….. I bet if she gets more requests/comments she will extend the Tymo discount (which is totally worth it) and find time to do a frizz/shine video. Good luck glamorous gals and glamorous GABI in the pursuit of GREAT HAIR!

It was a game changer. I repurchased it later down the track when it finally croaked... it was definitely ahead of it's time.

I have a barrel dryer like this but I did not realize I need to wait so my hair isn't so wet! That will save time for sure. My arms want to fall off because it takes so and and since it is so long to dry I can't reach the ends if it pull it straight up so it takes some time to get it all from root to end.

I just brought mine but I like to refresh my hair the next day. Can I use it on dry hair to freshen up my hair? By the way thank you Gabi I love all your videos ♥️

Girl I love you, you always got me. My Revlon has been frustrating me because it’s so hot and so big and soooo heavy. Eeek. Thank you!

I have the Revlon but also a Calista. I’m gonna bring that one out and see how it works.

great video. I just don't understand why these tools aren't actually round like brushes are. they are flattened on the sides which I don't get.

Which would you recommend more? The TYMO hair volumizer OR the TYMO straightener “RING”?

También pueden usar rulos lisos sin velcro, en últimas donde se enrolla el papel tooalet.

The before and after photos are from different times. The blow out brush did not add length or colour to the hair as in the after pic.

I used your code and purchased 2 of them for half than the price of 1 Revlon! I'll keep one and gift the other to my nieces. Thank you!

What brand did she say the dryer was?

@@cindybatson2807 TYMO. It's in the description box. Click "Show More" under the video blurb if you're using a computer, or click the video title if you're on mobile, for the window to expand. All the info, along with the discount code, can also be found on the comment she pinned on top of the thread.

Hi Gabi. Just ordered this off Amazon. Discount code was rejected. After looking at alternate link to Tymo site, still ordered from Amazon as still cheaper than Tymo site with coupon. Excited to try this! Have pretty much given up on styling tools d/t damage caused by having fine color treated hair. This hopefully will be the game changer! Will post update!

I ordered it from the TYMO site with a better discount code and it was still shipped from Amazon.

What color lip are you wearing in this video? Do some makeup videos.

I will start doing some makeup videos after I hit 100k subscribers. I am just trying to stay super focused on my goals with this channel and when I have a bigger audience I can start expanding it a bit. :) I actually use a lot of Senegence Lipsense colors because they last FOREVER. I believe this is a Senegence one but I don't remember which color I used.

Looks nice but to be honest to much work and time for me to do this, I just blow dry my hair while I plug my hot rollers (1" rollers) I pop those in do my makeup or whatever I need to do once I feel they are cool to the touch and I am done getting ready I take them out and I have the most beautiful blow out. I hardly do it but when I do I always get compliments on how beautiful my hair looks and what haircut do I get and how do I style it. Give it a try u might love the hot rollers more then the brush/dryer blow out.

I'm letting my hair grow out. Could you please tell me what kind of cut you have so I know what to tell my stylist.

oh wow! I struggle with my fine hair, I sturggle with hair loss, I also have patches and I need to badly take care of my hair. Looking for ways to add volume at home without needing a hairdresser each week. I will buy this tool, however disc code isnt working :/

Hiiii thanks for the tips. What about people with thin hair as well? Your hair is fine but not thin. I feel the brush would be too big for my hair. Are there like sizes?
