@@cakecrazy It's not even that; in the base game (before beating it) I don't even think Hidden Abilities are unlocked and now since Sword/Shield HA's can only be found in Dens and with Scarlet/Violet they seem to be sticking to this format. So say on a Scarlet/Violet playthrough you're basically guaranteed Pure Power Medicham in the overworld!

Just wanted to say i started a bdsp nuzlocke as my first proper try (i call my other attempts training). Maylene ended me with a triple bulked up drain punch lucario. She got the first one off outspeeding me, drain punched my only out for the lucario. After that it was bulk, drain, bulk, drain drain drain. I uad boxed mons but nothing that could take fighting. And my encounters were all used up. Safe to say im on run 2 now

@@GrimReaper_TTV I know, I did a Platinum Waterlocke myself. At first I wiped at Gardenia, but then I tried again and managed to get past her, and from there it was smooth sailing. Except I lost my Whiscash to Cyrus' Houndoom, and my Quagsire to Lucian and my Octillery to Aaron. But Gyarados swept Cynthia with Dragon Dance, Earthquake, Aqua Tail and Ice Fang. I didn't do it hardcore though, it was long before my first hardcore Nuzlocke, which was Brilliant Diamond (where I didn't lose anyone until the league, where I lost my Infernape to Aaron's Drapion, and then lost the rest of my team to Cynthia. Then I tried again, and I lost my Mr. Mime to Lucian, and for Cynthia, only my Roserade and Luxray survived, but I won, at least.) I did use the gift Manaphy and Jirachi throughout the run, but once I got to the league, I swapped out those mythicals for Honchkrow and Mr. Mime.
