As someone who's favorite typing is Dark type, and my first Pokémon game was X and Y... I decided "Yeah, this'll be fun to playthrough using dark types." The intro hits differently than expected.

For future reference if you happen to be using a "DS" that is a little fruity, you can hold right click which allows you to adjust the physical position of the "DS". It doesn't change anything visually, but if you right click on the bottom and then move it upwards while ending the fight it will actually evolve Inkay.

Remember kids: in Gen 6 mega evo's new speed wasn't calculated until the turn after it mega evolves. Krookodile outspeeds regular Gardevoir so that's why Krook outsped and won.

For your next challenge, you should do a randomized Nuzlocke where you can only use one type based off your randomized starter. If you pick a starter with a dual type, you have to declare which type you’re going for.
