You didnt use it correctly. You are supposed to slowly move it down as it braids. It keeps the end strand from getting tangled

Also the hair is supose to go down those tubes 1st. And from the top

I thought she WAS moving it down. There was just enough length exposed to get tangled. But I think the best thing to do is stop frequently and keep the bottom untangled and that would still make it a good tool to save all those calories hand braiding 😆

When you have thick coil style curly hair, it doesn’t matter how you do it lmao this is meant for straight medium to fine hair.
