I think the “safer path” the opponent was referring to at 7:30 would have been to just keep celebi in on donphan and 1v1 it while the heracross was still alive. Then if Houndoom ever switches in you can just hard switch to Heracross. He can’t kill the Hera with houndoom because he would just get dug trapped and lose, but the Donphan loses to the celebi 1v1. So he’s kinda just beat no matter what rather than Jim needing a 50-50 predict. He could only play his way out of that scenario with like three or more correct predictions and multiple megahorn misses.
