I Tried Canada's Newest Airline (First Impressions of Lynx Air)

I took Lynx Air, the newest airline in Canada. All opinions are my own and this video and my ticket were not sponsored in any way. I hope this helps some other Canadians or travellers to Canada! Let me know if you flew with Lynx, what you thought.

Thank you for the review! I’ll try to fly with them too. I like Flair a lot , but they seemed to have stopped some routes within canada( like Vancouver to ottawa), hope they’re not bought by air Canada……

It has that livery, as it was originally meant for Norwegian Air, but they cancelled their order so Lynx got it! I used to work at Lynx and we called it the cigarette 😅

That's actually one of Norwegian's old airplanes. I was very surprised the first time i saw it in Montreal as Norwegian no longer flies to any destination in North America. As far as I know, it's the only aircraft in the Lynx fleet that isn't yet painted in the official Lynx livery. EDIT: I don't think it was actually ever used by Norwegian. Went direct to storage and was then aquired by Lynx.

Wow interesting, you were flying on a former (or to be) Norwegian 737 MAX, but I guess Lynx picked it up instead which is why the livery has some hints of Norwegian in it. Shame they went under though.

Good riddance…absolutely had it coming for them ..I’m From Australia and Lynx has the rudest and most racist staff I have ever encountered in developed world .I have seen the flight attendant screaming at the passengers before take off .Most of them had little to poor English.Also coming out of the toilet close to their pantry heard them talking about how disgusting it is to serve customers from certain countries..I promptly reported the incident to the senior flight attendant who tried to give me a $25 flight voucher for the trouble lol shows how much they care .

These Mickey Mouse airlines never have enough cash or aircraft, I never fly with them, very little savings, Flair will be the next to fail, a terrible airline!

Not impressed that you would think you could take advantage of early boarding, very entitled attitude. To say that it is no different than any other airline from what you can see is not true, just look at the seats, one pays for check in luggage, no in flight entertainment etc, there are lots of things different from regular flights. This video appears to be done more for ego then information.
