Today is August 29th, 2022 and you should always use a large tooth comb on your hair when you first take down your braids. You had a very nice braid out when you took out the braids. Think about doing a braid out sometime. I have been using the creme of nature leave in conditioner and the Cantu coconut curling since my hair started growing back from having breast cancer twice. My hair has grown down to my ear lobe now.

My hair HATES cantu...I'm a creme of nature fan too but I only use their mango and shea leave-in conditioner atm. When you finish using those, switch to aussie or ogx shampoo and conditioner....they are AMAZING and they are not as drying on the hair.

You probably have low porosity hair. The conditioner and leave in have tons of protein
