W Sylvia!!!! Keep it up man! Cycling hurts but somehow you’ll find the fun in it, just have a great group of friends with you and you’ll suffer a little less 😊

From my experience it's really not hard to get into it. I bought a late 2000's tour bike for $200 off marketplace (06 to be specific) and its held up over 3000 miles with basically no service besides new tape and tubes and tires. Upgraded to gp5ks and you don't need clipless pedals. Mine came with flats and i just did across middle Tennessee and back with no problems.

7:20 alright, here’s a common misconception when it comes to advertised group rides. Every group ride also confirm got one complaint 😂 When we say Avg Speed is 20km/h, we will not be pushing 20km/h all the way. There’ll be the times the speed is higher and vice versa but it tends to average out as advertised speed. In this case, 42km/h was your current cruising speed. Not the whole ride’s average. To put it into context, It just doesn’t make much sense to pull the brakes on a straight road that’s sloping downwards, right? 😆 hope that clears things up. Cheers!

An advice I give out is always choose the slower rides. We once organized a huge group ride where there were 3 groups. Group A: 30km/hr Group B: 25km/hr Group C: 20km/hr If you’re new to cycling and feeling like going for Group B, trust me but you wanna go for Group C. There are days you don’t feel fresh. There are days life just gets to you. There are nights you can’t sleep. However, if everything is in your favour, just go for Group C anyway but be at the front and take turns doing pulls 👍 take home message is to go a tier easier.

28km/h for your first 100!? Very nice effort! My first I couldn't make it to 20km/h lol. Rather enjoyed watching this. Thanks for sharing. Entertaining, honest, interesting. Nice video.

tbh doing 100km with 1 stop with training of only a month is pretty good for being frequent as a beginner
