DH is fun, but i always have 2 issues with it. You dont have a finisher, how many matches i had with the enemy on 10% hp for ages is really frustrating. And your teammates always seem to die.

Came to say this, Fel-Scarred is insane in unorganized gameplay because you're just an absolute titan smashing unaware players. Feels pretty good sitting at like 1950ish CR on my alt rn.

i have a theory, could someone tell me if i'm wrong? the longer it has been that a season has been going, the harder it is to obtain rating my theory is that in early season you will have a statistically higher chance of queueing with 2200+ rated players in terms of skill meaning you will likely win more games but when you start mid-late season you never get those people in your queue anymore because they already have rank so you're stuck with people who don't know how to use basic abilities

You have to play around sigil mastery buff in FS, don't press eye beam without it up. Other than that good luck, playing DH vs. any other caster is just SO MUCH MORE effort for the same reward, I've been blasting through CR on any other alt. You can line everything up perfectly and ele/sp/affl/frost will still outpump you. DH will be the bottom of the barrel and you still have people complaining about them lol. unironically they could use a little push. My personal ask would be for them to buff up Aldrachi and make it the Arms/PVP spec of DH. Aldrachi is useless as is lol might as well make it an avenue for DH to PVP. Make the empowered blade dance apply a stronger grievous or anti heal. Idk but we can play around with ideas from there

Ive barely played but hit 1700 fairly quick. I usually top damage most games and that was before they fixed the fel scarred agi buff. Its just easy to cc and even easier to kill outside of blur and darkness

Idk what these dudes cry about as DH, I never touched the class on launch, started leveling mine in bfa but never maxxed it, leveled it up for tww cause the exp buffs and finally got to play one endgame at aparently their weakest time ever in wow history, and shit feels hella broken to me... I can literally glimpse out of most cc and doublejump/fel rush over mage novas/rof and have 999 interupts it feels like compared to other classes. Shits got more micro CC then MoP hunters. The ammount of times Ive literally just bursted someone low, then afk sat on a fresh DR healer with Stun /laugh felstun/slap/imprison (enemy trink) into my premeditated Sigil of fear disorient /laugh... and just won afk sitting on top ccing a healer... I think they just dont play the class right... They all too use to one shotting with the hunt.. Which is utter trash I admit.. make that maybe do a lil more dmg but thats it... dont touch the class its insane if someones not retarded. I think the old Ungabunga DH players from past xpacs should class swap to WW monk if they want to just afk train something and toss out a incap to win.. thats no longer the DH class, Its more nuanced now. Being killed in darkness does feel terrible though, I agree. Maybe some defensive buffs are needed. But if ur having fun keep playing the class, its not bad at all in the slightest and is very good if you put time into it.

Try Fel scarred for 3's. Aldrachi reaver is better for duels but more burst with fel scarred.

I started WOW for the first time with a havoc demon hunter. I like pvp but I am not liking dh so far. It is both difficult and not very strong in my opinion. What is the best dps you would recommend to a newcomer?

Tried havoc dh with 2 set and some purple gear... Definitely felt like the worst spec ive ever played.... To be fair my lobbies were pretty terrible. 0 cr i get 2 blood dk lobbies back to back then get thrown into a full purple caster 1900 cr game, with a combined 2 wins out of 12 matches lol

@@Halfhaphazard yea it's kinda common now. With new hero talent it stacks up damage on a death strike, and you have a 50% parry every minute with your go that does more damage. Can't really die and does around dps level DMG

The number of times he said big dam and only got like 30% of enemies life was hilarious. Also, the number of times he begged his partner not to die (because no real utility to save them) = entertaining. I hope more people play DH because of a bliz con champions highlight video at 1500 as DH is undeniably trash and are on farm in retail. They don't have a thing. They're not doing more damage than shamans ferals or even evokers. They aren't immortal like shadow priests who can also swap their teammate shutting down a go. They aren't lethal game closers like warriors or ferals. They aren't playmaking tacticians like rets rogues or mages. Nothing in this video made me think oh wow I've really been missing out on DH. I also won't be going into my next lobby going on no a DH lol. Which is sad because thematically they are awesome this expansion with incredibly fun mechanics they just don't clap.

Really enjoyed dh but I can't sit in these qs to push that high rating with a real job. Less and less players lately queues are so awful. Even for blitz my healer has 10 min qs at 1700. Higher rating on dh good players just save stun for eye beam to shutdown your whole go. Don't have as much fun playing reaver

Shamans in general need to be nerfed hard, it's crazy to me nobody is talking about them and instead everyone was crying about hunters. But every game I've ever been in with a shaman they took the meters every time, regardless of if there's a hunter feral shadow affliction boomkin doesn't matter.

I have a shaman, Evoker, warlock, Hunter and monk on lvl 80 für pvp and somehow buffs and nerfs by blizzard create the only playable meta. For example: my hunter MM was lots of fun in arena and now i do ZERO damage compared to other classes because of the nerfs. Trying out shaman with zero gear is more rewarding in 1700xp lobbies than hunter full equip in 1900 xp lobbies. Sadly. They make the pvp gear grind way to hard to play multiple classes during a season. Ps. This is my first season since a long time playing WoW but still :D

Instant cast ffb procs, and icy veins procs and main cd make it ridiculously fast cast time. I know, I’m playing one. Finally had enough. Frost is mongo op vs any melee too, it’s the bm of casters vs melee.
