Most of these are bullshit against people rated 1000 or lower. If you master and memorize every opening and every "tip" at max you will reach 800elo before you start to run into people who've been playing chess since they were a toddler. And thats my biggest tip for chess, have your kids start chess a 3 years old so they too can hit 1000 elo.
