If you choose critical lines you can get agressive attacks, very fun. And you definitely don't need to be a GM to understand the ideas, 1400 may be enough, but even at 1000 you can something out of it.

Who is King's Indian Defence Player? I personally like it, because literally everyone who castles kingside loses the game against me due to the fact that I can go for a pawn-storm on the king side and overwhelm the white king. It is slightly unpleasant if they castle queenside, but you can still save the game from there.
