‘I Tried Everything Before I Got Cosmetic Arm Surgery’ | This Morning

It’s the latest extreme cosmetic surgery. Last September, Ellie Phillips became one of the few people in Britain to undergo an arm lift procedure to remove stubborn excess skin and fat. Ellie, who had tried every diet and exercise regime, said, ‘It’s major surgery, very painful, will take six months to fully heal and - due to my insistence on returning to work too soon - resulted in complications. But my only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner.’ Ellie joins us with her surgeon Paul to discuss why she resorted to such an extreme measure to get the arms she desired.

I have the same problem as her, and no, it's not in my head cos a couple of ppl have pointed it out without me even asking them, which makes me extra conscious about it. I always have to size up in tops to accommodate my upper arms. I don't wear sleeveless clothing or tops with tight long sleeves cos they look like drumsticks. I can't exercise them away. I've tried.

Same!!!! I cannot exercise my arms due to bad joints. I wear flare sleeves but there are clothes that are better off without sleeves. I see doctors avoiding this specific mini scar procedure

It looks fantastic. I have a similar issue with my arms. I wear a large in shirts but my arms need an XL or XXL because they can't fit in the sleeves. Then I look like I don't know how to pick clothes for myself because everything else hangs on me.
