The reason why the cookies did,not work is because she cooked the hollow circle until they were cooked and then added the jolly ranchers only for a little bit so they don't get burnt and its turns out clear that way (I have tried it before )

I've seen "aquarium cookies" made on youtube before! They called them sound cookies though cause you shake them (so at least you got that part right). The videos have basic subtitles/directions for English viewers, but I've noticed many Japanese and Korean cooking channels make really cute and interesting desserts so it's worth a look.
