Thresh's weapon is a kusarigama, which is basically a sickle attached to a chain. Most kusarigama have a counter weight at the end of the chain like a small flail-like ball, or some other weapon like a piercing blade or even another sickle. Thresh happens to just have his lantern on the other end. His weapon on base skin would also be considered a kusarigama.

Great as always Pekin! A thing to keep in mind with Thresh is that if you use Q2 to take your hook in, it lets you auto attack again faster while they're still stunned.

Awww, I was really looking forward to seeing this one play out! I know Thresh isn't a "Good" laner - not meta or anything...but I'm a big Thresh fan. Was really cool to see you give it a shake. Always hurts to see souls left behind though, haha...Thresh is such a well-rounded scaler, and I think of souls as Nasus stacks. :) Free permanent armor & AP! Will hope to see another Thresh vid some day!

I’m surprised lethal tempo is the play for ad thresh. It seems like it has anti synergy with his e passive, which builds up one big hit and doesn’t have much follow up damage

well, could go something like first strike, if you wanted to go full hands on with thresh passive, but thats not the idea of this build. Its a hybrid build thats not full ad, its purpose is to be a consistent tanky dps, which is why you see frostfire guantlet and lethal tempo here.

Really the E damage is just a bonus here, you’re just using thesh’s amazing utlity and pairing it with consistent damage slaps. It’s really similar to the shen build with frost and wits end. IMO if you want damage, this build actually synergises better with sunfire if you’re using LT because of the sunfire attack stacking. Not sure why frostfire would be better besides just for utility. Sunfire>Wits end is a nasty combo.

Thresh e is bonus on hit damage to 1.5x the number of souls he has. If you have 100 souls, that's a bonus 150 magic damage every auto which is why attack speed is so strong. 100 souls can be gotten around 25 mins. There's a youtuber called Cryo who has been playing Thresh top for a while now and they explain this a lot better than me.
