I gotta say, I love your vids. They're calming, yet addictive. I bet riding the bus over in Japan is a far better experience than here in the States. I bet people don't talk loudly, play music or are generally disruptive like they are here on buses.

That fare was a great price for the distance, but I think I’d probably opt for the train to have more regular access to a toilet if I needed it. I’ve been to Fukuoka twice before - by ferry!

The best part is the rest stop snacks. Otherwise it seems an uncomfortable trip this time. Although, I think it is better than the time you had to walk for so long in the snow to get to the ferry.

I visited Fukuoka last May. It's better to take the bus from Hakata Station to LaLaport than the JR train, as Takeshita Station is at least 20 minutes walking distance to the mall.

A long comment, sorry. I drove to a six nations reservation yesterday and it was a two-and-a-half-hour drive, and when I got back home I said something similar to what you said. My neck and back were screaming at me, but then I've got fibromyalgia and degenerative disc disease. I absolutely love the curtains between each seat. I haven't taken a bus in years now that I've got wheels, but I would have appreciated a curtain. C'mon 🇨🇦 bus lines, this is a fantastic idea. I am tired of paying out $100 in tolls every time I visit my Sister; I'd take a bus if they had curtains 😂 Seriously, this was another excellent video and the minute I saw your udon noodles, my stomach growled loudly; that looked so delicious.

Hello from Brazil!!! I'm a lawyer and travel a lot too, but here we don't here trains and buses are simples in comparative to Japan buses. Are very comfortables, of course, but don't give amenities or food (rarely, a snack 🥨 and a glass of water). Don't have curtains our doors not even the amazing first class cabins. We have simple bus, 2x2 seats and no bathroom, make lines within the city or short distances.Standart, also 2x2 seats, has small differences in inclination in the seats and has a bathroom.
@drasuellenmppr

Finally, for trips that take days, as Brazil is huge, we have 2 types of buses: bed and semi-bed. Bed reclines up to 180⁰, has footrest, wide seat, comes with blankets and pillow.
@drasuellenmppr
@drasuellenmppr Жыл бұрын
Semi bed reclines up to 155⁰, also has blanket and pillow. In both, the seating configuration is 2x1 and they are wide seats, 60 cm, with inclination for feet, light regulation and air conditioning. Good toilets.

These two kinds stop for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, bus stops and daily showers in clean places with amenities. There are trips that take weeks and several drivers take turns.

All kinds of buses offer free internet, hand luggage and on trunk (up to more than 50 kilos, depending on the company). Love your videos, tks for the great subtitles. Please show more food - poke, sushi, vegetarian or fish-only foods, no pork. And local wines and sparkling wines, 'cause we don't have it here. Perhaps a tour of a local winery. ありがとう、そしてさようなら

That's also the reason for that cheapness, that you stop almost in every corner in the route. I think I will choose the train because there is much more space, fastest service and a bathroom anytime I need to 😅 Anyway, there are options of all prices and that's the beauty of traveling by bus. For some faster and more expensive options, there is the plane or the bullet train, but a more affordable train or bus. Thanks for the video and recommendations.
