Absolutely fantastic!!! I felt that I was traveling in Japan. Thank you very much dear for posting this video. I've become an addict of Japanese travel videos, although I have never been to Japan and I do not know whether I will be able to do so once. However, will keep watching. How neat and tidy the roads are

I came across your channel some time last year and completely fell in love with it! I've been steadily making my way through your whole video collection from the very beginning, and am a little sad that I'm almost completely up to date, because it means I'll have to wait now for every new video you release (but it'll always be worth it). I love travel, and now that the pandemic has been easing, we've been traveling abroad more. Wherever we go outside the US, I always appreciate the rail system and public transit, which are typically much better and more efficient than what we have back home. The times we've gone to Japan, we've marveled at how good the subway systems are, and how easy it is to travel between cities on local train or shinkansen. The last time I visited Japan was in 2019, with the Harvard Glee Club Alumni Chorus -- we collaborate every few years with the Kyoto University Glee Club alumni to sing a joint concert in the US or Japan, and that year was in Kobe and Takamatsu. We all had a great time -- I was able to visit Osaka on that trip as well and stroll the Dotonbori. Like you, I also appreciate the journey as much as the destination, so I enjoy how your videos show the amenities of each train or bus or ferry. The scenery is always interesting, and the food you get never fails to make my mouth water. I think what sets your channel apart from the several other similar KZbin channels is your geniality and your wit -- there's always something about your videos that makes me smile. I recommend your channel to everyone who's interested in Japan travel!

Beautiful scenery and again, Mt Fuji made a spectacular appearance. Our buses in Canada have a few things in common. A driver Luggage storage underneath A bathroom, usually, with water in the sink working sometimes. That's it. We've no seatbelts, very few rest stops on long trips (1 is typical for a 7-8 hour trip), no food trays, no usb ports, no curtains, raucous & rowdy riders, in my experience and drivers who aren't normally polite & respectful. I have heard that in the Western provinces it's more civilized though. And that's why I love owning a vehicle, though she's old, I love a road trip.

Thanks for this information of coaches operated by companies in Canada. Sure bare essential which is the seat you paid for, other things excluded. Time for Canada to update its traffic rules to make safe journeys for everyone. That trudeau must be busy supporting that ukraine driver and forgot his duties towards Canadians.

3:56 The way you edit your videos, I thought you were much younger than your age. 8:59 Have you ever climbed Mt. Fuji? 13:29 Is there a reason why the rest stops are shorter? Your previous bus trips stop for at least 20 mins. 19:13 What bad luck! Thanks for another fun day trip across your highways. Always something interesting to see! Stay safe.

I really enjoyed this video. I guess Japan has their own version of the Statue of Liberty huh 😆 😂 The bus looked really comfortable to ride in and I was really surprised how spacious the bathroom one it was. The scenery was very beautiful from Mount Fuji to the lake and to the castle. And all the food you tried was delicious. I would have got local delicacy instead of Starbucks or Baskin-Robbin and I love them both. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Can't wait for the next one

I travelled the Tomei from Yokohama to Gotemba as a passenger maybe 12 years ago in a manically driven Mazda. Your bus ride seemed much more relaxing! We stopped at the same rest area with the view of Mt Fuji as in your video, I think. It was an eye-opener to see how great the scenery is along the rest of the route to Nagoya. Great video once again!

Great trip. Departing from Tokyo at 9.00, and arriving at Nagoya around 14.55, quite a long journey, but side note, this bus has many stops along the journey, and for me it's not a big problem, since I've already taking bus up to 7 hours. Talking about the highway, maybe yes, only in Japan where you can see bus stop located in Highway, but in my country, even though there's no bus stop at highway, sometimes local buses picked up and dropped off passenger at Toll booth, or before entering highway, or maybe below the bridge which passing over the highway, usually the last example is only when the pickup/drop-off location close to industries or residential area. Also, Sometimes express bus picked up or drop off passenger at highway (usually rest area) by passenger appointment. Anyway, the view looks amazing, from Fuji mountain into Pacific Coast, and also some agricultural surrounding + lake. 5 minutes shorter rest time compared to Osaka/Kyoto Destination, and looks like the last Service Area is same as the first rest stop of buses from Tokyo to Osaka/Kyoto Destination.

I don't know what the custom is in Japan, but in our country it is strictly forbidden to eat or drink on buses and trains. They will also drop you off if the driver sees you.Although young people do not always comply and this causes a lot of conflict.

It’s exactly the same on most busses, taxis and on some trains in the UK. Infringements can result in hefty fines. This is especially enforced if any alcohol is consumed as that is strictly forbidden in all cases
