I Tried Korean Air's Business Class Flight!

Korean Air ran my most pleasant flight ever. From NYC to Seoul we hit some turbulence. I had been hording the snack brownies they were giving us and we dropped hella altitude. Everyone on the plane was completely silent, except for me who was shoveling brownies down my gullet at the speed of light like they might be my last. Everything chilled out, they came around with coffee. I said no thanks, already made a mess in my pants. When we were getting off the plane they gave me a whole basket of brownies. I ate them every day for a whole month, dang good brownies.

I worked for the company that supplies the food carts for most airlines. We are told to throw out the utensils and even the unopened sodas and food. Keep the utensils.

I once flew First Class on a dated jet. It had the square blue seats you see in old Pan Am movies. No computer monitors on the back of the seat ahead of you, so nothing to do but read or sleep. It was a short flight, but they let us have all the wine, drinks, and snacks we wanted. When I came home in Economy Plus, I had the monitor to watch TV and play games. Thank you for sharing your flight. I enjoy seeing the offerings of different companies.

On the thing about using your mother's miles: it's worth noting that (with public uproar) that Korean Airlines have changed their mileage policy such that they now expire AND redeeming them for seats are becoming quite harder. Many Koreans who spent a long time accumulated their miles can't use their expiring miles. Better to use them than to lose them.

Sadly, they do change... Recently they stopped offering unlimited ramen. You used to be able to ask for shin ramen at any time, but no longer (at least for economy).

Go to the Kyrgyzstan next time, i hardly recommend you visit our mountains and biggest lake in Central Asia Issyk-Kul. There you can find unique nomad culture and cousin that taste delicious!😅

Thanks Jimmy. I was looking at this flight. You just saved me $3500. Yes on KAL business from LAX to ICN averages that much. For a little less I can fly EVA or China Air. That seat is a little bit bigger than Singapore Airlines Permium Economy.

Adding sugar to cereal is not like adding it to cola, that's a huge stretch. In the Uk we add sugar to any unsweetened cereal like cornflakes, rice crispies and Weetabix or any other bran or fiber-heavy unsweetened foods and its never really more then a small spoonful. Unless in the USA they genuinely add it to already sweet and or frosted cereal then that's a bit odd.

My Job is cleaning planes and the reason your seat was dirty is because the airline gives us a certain time to clean the plane. We get rushed and some seats will have crumbs or a piece of trash. Headsets are cleaned and reused. Not the same day of course it gets picked up and replaced with clean ones that are brought on the plane.

I got bimbimbap in economy class with Korean airline a couple times and it looked like the one you had in business class 😊 with all the silver utensils. The only thing different is no tablecloth in economy class. Based on your video, I’m not impressed with business class. I would save my points for first class or better yet, hopefully I can transfer my points to first class on Emirates 😊

You don’t have to be rich to get mileage to score a business flight btw. Most of the airline reviewers i watch get their points from credit card referrals and regular spend. i.e, I am by no means rich, but snagged a first class US to japan flight just by doing normal spend.
