I tried lots of WATERCOLORS and these 6 are my favorite ones!

Idk what's wrong with your Schmincke colors, but I find them to be the silkiest and cleanest watercolors. Some of them granulate, but that's why it's important to know your pigments since the same pigment can come in smooth and granulating. Maybe because I buy them in tubes and pour them in the pans myself, I know the properties are slightly different when you buy in tubes vs. already poured. Very weird.

@@cris_ad I find some of their colors dry weird and I’ve heard other artists notice that too. I think it happens mostly with reds and ochre. Maybe my pans are a bit old? Or it depends on the paper too.. anyways I still use them a lot and love the texture ☺️
