Even though he struggles, he is married and hold a full-time job, which is very very difficult physically for him to do. But at 15 years old in high school people who said they were your friends disappeared really quick after his accident. Only a few stayed around. It broke my heart. The entire situation broke my heart. He was in the hospital for 40 days. Praise God I still have my son.

It’s interesting how a lot of people will say “yes” just to get out of the situation, as it’s always easy to bail later. The ones who follow through, though, end up having a genuine and grand time making connections regardless how random it might be. Really enjoy this concept, and hopefully it encourages people to be more spontaneous (of course, while still being safe) to take chances with strangers

That was touching. People got stories man - people have been thru shit. You sound prejudiced, actually. Lots of rural people aren't religious, at least not aggressively so. You have clearly not spent much time around them. The biggest commonality amongst rural people is a priority on freedom and privacy. I get along great with my religious neighbors and while they do drop hints occasionally, I just don't take the bait. They are entitled to their own freedom and that kind of respect is basic.

I met one of my good friends waiting in line at a Mapco gas station. I heard a band I liked on his headphones and just made a comment about it and we started talking about music waiting in line.. he told me he was a vocalist for a local band and invited me to one of their shows. Added him on social media and have been to several shows to hang out. Interestingly, we are diametrically on opposite sides in our political beliefs, religious beliefs, and many other things... yet none of that really matters at the end of the day more than our friendship.

I feel so sorry for Bri because I've been through exactly the same story. I was 20 years old when I had this tragic car accident, I was hanging out with 3 of my so called "friends" when the acciden happened and I was the only one who suffered from it the most and luckily none of them got hurt except some little stitches and scratches (I wasn't the driver). I went into a coma for 2 days and in the following 6 months I ran 3 surgeries in my face, my arm, and my head to fix the broken bones, the healing process took up to 2 years and guess what? none of them called me during this difficult time, none of them came to visit me in the hospital, and I never heard from them ever again! This difficult experience effected me so hard that I turned into a weird introvert person, I tried to commit sui*ide 2 times because I hated myself and my life, I faced difficulties when trying to connect with people, I never made true friends ever since the accident, I wasted the best years of my life (my 20s) being worried, lonely, broken, and a psycho. I'm 29 year old now with no friends, no love nothing at all. Sometimes I wish I could get back in time and fix many things in my life such as by going to therapy, be more open with people and myself, and to learn just let things go that hurt me because I didn't believe I'm strong. They ruined my life in a way they never could have imagined! But at this point in my life I got stronger and I hope for things to get better despite the painful past!

I'm sorry to hear that, but you're truly doin' great, sometimes some people make us disappointed & feelin worse because of their action & they just brushed it, and i can understand your feelin, because i get multiple betrayal from my "ex-bestfriends", when i was the only one who gave so much loyal, they didn't do the same & even pointing their finger at me, so yeah i got upside down with myself & the environment.. i wish you can find someone who can see you as you are & being your real friend.. but you still need to learn & love yourself 'kay, and accepted both ur weakness & strength, so you can love the people around you better.. I live far from Bri but I'd definitely be an online/text friend. Everyone deserves to have a friend that will be there, even to just sit. To just be there, if that's what is needed. Hearing her story made me sad. It's SO easy to just be the ear or the hand someone needs. Stranger or not. I love what you guys do, even if you make it "more awkward" than it needs to be. And that's coming from someone who is shy and introverted 😅 I'd go if I ever ran into you guys, though. Or anyone doing this. It's truly the simple things in life and you never know what little thing will change someone's life. A hi at the right time, a smile, holding the door longer than necessary when you see someone coming, etc. Everyone is always in such a hurry... but for what? Often times nothing that couldn't wait a few more seconds. Also, yall better have gone and gotten that man some ribs 😂 Doordash, pronto! Lol Hope everyone has a great night ❤

It is, thats why they literally counted it

I really enjoy watching the content this channel and group of lads produce. It’s authentic and very 2000’s way of meeting new people and potentially meeting new friends. We often see people complain about not meeting any new people or not making any friends, but I can’t help but feel like there is an insecurity or fear of a stranger approaching them and wanting to invite them out or get to know them without any prior interaction with that person. It takes a certain level of confidence, trust and experience to get over the initial thought and say yes to a new experience, but equally I can understand why some may pass and say no altogether. One thing I have noticed from your content is people can sense an interaction a mile off. Whether you’re confident, nervous or unsure. The first few seconds before you open your mouth, I think that’s the point where people make their minds up. There’s not much you can do apart from your best and try and project your energy and hope for the best. People who are open will see it, people who are shut off for whatever reason or history might skip it or reject it. You don’t know what their past experiences have been. Please keep up the work!

I learned that having a "work dinner" is a common and effective excuse to be antisocial ✍✍✍
@Griot-GuildАй бұрын
I was just wondering what that even meant lol
@j-pnyc6019 күн бұрын
Maybe they weren't trying to be antisocial, but to gracefully say no without offending the other person. While we know these guys are awesome, the people they approached do not know them, and truthfully, some of their attempts to start a conversation were too awkward and could very easily come across unintentionally as creepy.

This is so cool. Every single video goes to show that while you need to be careful out there you can’t and shouldn’t isolate yourself. There is still so much kindness out there.

You guys made an ompact in someone's life. Maybe it doesn't feel like much, just hanging out for a few hours. But sometimes you show up in someone's life just at the right time and it changes their course. Awesome that you did this experiment.

This is a hard one because a lot of people are really paranoid that they would end up in a bad situation. Even in my own 55+ community, hardly anyone wants to tell you their first name after you've told them yours.

You’re doing a great service with the channel and your social experiments. I hope the young generations relate and learn…fear is blocking so many folks from connecting…..your videos and travel experience are great for people to learn about people! Kudos!❤

Had to pause the video for a minute to comment bc as a person who kind of has a similar personality and probably would have a similar response as Marie, I think it said a lot about your own character that she felt comfortable around you. I think that’s a big win personally and I found it really sweet.
