I tried MTB racing for the first time, here’s what happened.

I finally got my first MTB race under my belt, thanks to my friend who gave me a whole lot of help and tips. I had a blast! In this vid I share what I learned and what helped me during my first race.

Nice, I just signed up for the Eden Epic in August. It will be my first race as well, I’ll be riding my switchblade which may be a bad idea considering the elevation gain!

Just remember during the race that you might be asking yourself why you put yourself through this hell and you will not do it again, that ten minutes after the race you will be wanting to know when and where is the next race 😄

@cbl1276 - I just googled the Eden race, that's a beast! I think I'm going to sign up for it. Now I just have to figure out how to train. Thanks for sharing!

@@elroobike if you figure it out let me know! I’ve been doing short rides on the BST, gonna increase the mileage every week or so as the snow melts and keep riding my NordicTrack in between. What is your Strava handle, we can keep an eye on each others training.
