I agree 110%!! Even when they doubled their prices to be competitive with other brands, they're still mostly under $10 (with exception of some products) and they have an excellent "niche" on the market as far as creating exceptional dupes for some high-end products! I used to not like elf. Then over the years they have gotten better. There's many things I enjoy. I mean my brow routine is the brow was and powder duo, the brow wow, or I use their instant brow pencil sometimes, in the white tube. I choose those over everything I own. They do have misses like every other brand. I will say I'm not crazy about the bite size shadows. Everyone loves them and I can't figure out why. They literally just blend away on me. :(

shales leigh I have rose water and the lighter matte pretty much blends away, I couldn’t get it to build up enough. The shimmers aren’t anything special, same building up issue. My favorite shade is the darker satin. But I will say for $3 it’s not too bad

While I understand this isn't the most "convenient" I had the same problem with their Nude Moods palettes from last year and I found that spritzing my brush with their Mist & Set spray (or any kind of Primer Water or even just water) gave me an excellent result on the lid. Not a super darkened or "smoky" result but a result closer to the color in the pan. Might be worth trying?? Just a thought. :)

the truffles quad is absolutely excellent - i would greatly suggest it to anyone, especially people that say the other ones blend away on them! the mattes are really rich and deep (on top of no eye primer or concealer)

Combining warm and cool tones can actually look really nice !! I've been loving that lately!! A warm tone buffed into the crease and a cool toned shimmer on the lid.. it really makes your eyes pop ! (Especially if you use the colors that bring out your own eye color already) I've been using Desert Sands by MAKEUP GEEK in the crease , or a really warm reddish brown, and a cool toned taupe shade (like Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Marie Antoinette) on the lid, and it makes my green eyes totally pop ! Love it 💕 and it's so much fun to play around with different color combos. it's also one of those looks that looks like it took a lot more work than it actually did ! 😉👍

Be careful with the elf camo concealer if you have breakout prone skin, it covers so well but makes breakouts 10 times worse. I switched to the NYX can't stop won't stop concealer and it works just aswell and is better for acne prone skin, even fungal acne. Love your channel, you are one of my favorite beauty channels!

I've been using the ELF Halo Glow powder for about a week now and I really love it. It leaves a nice subtle glow but no shimmer. I have also been using the ELF Mattifying primer in my T-zone and it's excellent for keeping shine away. I have just recently started using ELF products and I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality. I purchased a couple of the little eye shadow palettes but haven't tried them out yet...After watching your video, I think today's the day!

I LOVE those glitter eyeshadows for their price! One tip I have with them is to just use them as your main lid shadow and swipe them on straight from the tube. They layer up incredibly and if you do that and then put mascara on right after you get next to no fallout and they dry down and last soooo long! One time I even fell asleep in my makeup (a no no I know) but I woke up and they were still on my eyes still with no fallout! I didn’t even use glitter glue!
