I have been using Nuuly for 6 months now and I do not intend to stop. It's a nice way to build a capsule closet and then rent the funky fun pieces that you typically would not buy and would not wear frequently. It's a little treat to myself every month and I love it! Their customer service is also incredible. I do agree that it is unfortunate that you cannot swap out pieces. I fear the day I get a Nuuly and none of it fits.
@abbystimpson69932 жыл бұрын
I’ve been using Nuuly since last October! I love it! Pro Tip- you really have to read those reviews. Some of those models wear the clothes so well but the average girl does not. That’s why you put in your height and body shape so that if post a review everyone can see it. I scroll through reviews looking for someone with body type to see how it might look on me!

So excited that you tried this! I used this subscription for about 6 months and loved trying out more adventurous styles, patterns and colors. I found reading the reviews and looking at the pictures really helps when choosing sizes. Even with that I did have one box that was a dud and only 1 item fit. They let me return the whole box and have a do-over. The customer service with them is fantastic. Once I got an item that was damaged and they credited me a bonus item for the following month. I highly recommend this!!

Hi Michel! I love watching your videos. I’m actually the first girl in that review of photos you pulled up on their website for the Agolde balloon jeans. 🥰 My thoughts were exactly the same. Love the jeans, but wish I could get a smaller size because mine were also a size too big on me. I’m still not incredibly sold on the concept of paying $88 per order either, but since you can pause your subscription anytime I think maybe that’s the way to go if you want to save it for a special occasion, fun vacation or time when you want to try some unique styles out to see if you want to purchase them later. Super fun review though! Keep them coming! 🤩

I feel like $88 is way too much for renting 6 pieces of semi pricy clothes. I could just buy one thing for $88 a month that id keep. It doesn’t sound worth it/reasonable. A cool concept but not sure how realistic it is for ppl to spend that much on renting clothes each month
@SharonDBD2 жыл бұрын
Kinda what I thought too, It's a cool concept, but you can just save up 2 months and buy 1 piece per 2 months and own them forever. Seems kinda like a money-waste to me, but then again I'm very stingy 😂

Love the idea of this! But $88 seems like a lot for, in most cases, second hand clothes. And the discount wasn’t great for items already worn by numerous other people. Didn’t really feel the quality was there for what you received either. Maybe the thrift is better?

Whenever I think of renting clothes, all I think of is when I used to volunteer in a charity shop, and a very posh lady came in every week to buy a new outfit for date night (and return last week's date night outfit). It never bothered us because she was buying and donating back, it's just weird.

Hi Michel. Gwynnie Bee is a company with this same concept. When I used them before you could exchange as much as you wanted through out the month without paying extra. The only thing I didn’t like about it is you didn’t know which pieces they would send. You created a closet and they would send things from your closet depending on what was in stock at the time.

In a way, would you still be spending full price or close to the total price if you were to purchase the piece or several pieces and also pay the $88/month? Idk if that's how the system works, but it seems too expensive. Michel, if it's that the case with you paying the $88 on top of the item (that has been used), I would honestly save your money and thrift.

@SarahBethBeauty2 жыл бұрын
Those jeans are…awkward 😬 The balloon style, not so much, but that’s just me! You kept saying “try before you buy” and “throw in to the rotation”. My thoughts, you could just try the clothing on in the store or purchase and return if the item doesn’t work 🤷🏻♀️ And you’re not really throwing it in to the rotation because you have to return it. Anyways, $88 is a lot (for me) to try a few items and have them maybe not even fit. I’d rather spend $88 on a few new items. Rent the Runways is the way to go for clothing rental. Much more affordable and amazing dresses for events!

The yellow dress is very cute on you. Is it really true that you can't switch sizes without paying? That jumpsuit is cute, but.....the fact that the plaids don't match at the seams is kind of a dead giveaway for lack of quality. So.....it may be what it would sell for, but it definitely is not worth it. It just didn't look well made; frankly reminded me of something a middle schooler would make in sewing class out of cheap cotton. That black top is pretty, and maybe a little fabric tape will help your bra situation. The plaid shorts are cute (but not with the black top; two totally different vibes) but, as you said, they appear cheap. I am old, but I get really cranky with the prices some things go for. I think with your sister's wedding, and a bunch of events surrounding it, it would be fun to rent special occasion outfits, especially that green jumpsuit you passed on this time.
