So I’m really thinking about purchasing my first luxury watch and I came across this Tudor at my local Alson’s and thinking about pulling the trigger but don’t know if it’s worth it…..for it to be wrapped gold (which is basically gold filled) at that price point it doesn’t seem practical. If the band was just wrapped but the bezel and crown were actual gold I can understand but idk man

Watch purchases are always emotional ones. I only have one steel and gold watch and only really wear around the house since it’s a little flashy for my style. I still wear this watch to work almost every week. It’s simple but elegant the same time. It’s a good value.

I think 39 is a perfect size for myself. Yes I could get away with a 41 but it being more so on the dressier side tho it can be an extravagant piece it doesn’t need to be gaudy. And the 2 tone the I was told the bezel is fully 18k unlike the caps on the bracelet. With that being said I much prefer the stainless steel with with the diamond replacing the pips in the dial.

It would not fade. It would need be to physically polished off quite aggressively.

Isnt the bezel solid gold? I thought only the crown and centre links are gold capped.
