95°F in Michigan US this summer🍦that cooling dish would have been helpful. I had a medium size dog though. He loved ice cubes. He just passed in September. He would've been 13 this month. Seeing you and Salem playing makes my heart smile*.

The first item with suction cups on the back will stick to tile - like in the tub. So they will stay while you give them a bath while eating the peanut butter. Also you can stick it to outside of tub to trim their nails with the peanut butter distraction.

A lot of people stick the first device to the walls of the bathtub, so that you can get your dog to take a bath while licking the peanut butter off of the wall 😊. Love your videos Raphael! The water flowing is more for the clean part. Like animals in the wild mostly drink flowing water because standing water is more likely to have bad stuff in it and be dirty.

2 years later and I just now discovered this video from you, Raphael.... I have 4 dogs that are my "kids" and am always watching for new and interesting gadgets both myself and for them. This video was awesome! Salem was so engaged with everything and watching was so much fun 🙂 I absolutely loved the camera/treat dispenser and the treat gun. The lick pad I believe is made more for the bathroom.....bathing especially. It should stick to tile and your shower wall or inside the bathtub. Definitely do more dog/pet gadget videos!

The water fountain simulates creeks/rivers (any “water that moves”) so cats and dogs love it, it’s what their natural source of water was meant to be in the wild. It’s kinda oxygenating the water too so it’s definetely good for Salem, glad you kept it

Not only mirrors, glass or plastic, either, if you have glass wall in your shower, use it. Basically, the surface needs to be very, very smooth, like glass mirror, plastic etc. It wont work on wall. Probably, you could try on the wall that is painted with glossy color and make the sticky things on that pad little wet.

The "sticky things" are called *suction cups* 🙄 and yes , they work on walls ... they need to have a bit of water on them and the wall surface .

You could also put ice cubes in the water bowl to get cold water. A friend's dog will sometimes (usually in the hot months) only drink it with the ice cubes. If the dog likes it with ice cubes, it is also a way to get a dog to drink water if they don't want to, but need to, to stay hydrated.

Licky mats from the beginning of the video usually stick very well to bathroom tiles and are great enrichment for cats and dogs 😊 Snuffle mats (the thing at the end of the video) are also great enrichment for dogs (the word you were looking for :P). Fountains are especially great for cats because they instinctively try to avoid drinking still water since still water in the wild=bad water. This often leads to bladder/kidney issues in pet cats (especially in male cats). Some dogs prefer moving water as well. I would recommend trying the Nina Ottosson dog puzzles! (new video idea? :P) They come in different difficulty levels, my dog is currently at level 3 and they're some of the best things to get their lil brains working 💖

The green and brown treat thing as you said is called a snuffleflower and it is actually a step up from a regular snufflemat as you can adapt the difficulty by keeping it more open or close. The step up further from the snuffleflower is the snuffelcarpet. Those range in difficulty from just as easy as a snufflemat to really difficult depending on who made it and the materials used (I make snufflecarpets in theme for dogs of all difficulty levels so I have really seen it all from an easy dessert themed one to a hard Disney themed one). If you want to go even harder you can up to puzzle games. Those games engage dogs more mentally than snufflegames and are usually a lot harder. The most popular brands for puzzle games are trixie, kong and nina ottoson. Do keep in mind that every single snufflegame is tiring for a dog as well! About 10 minutes of snufflegames or puzzles equals a 30 minute walk, so make sure your pup is up to it! Also always do snuffle or puzzle games under supervision. Especially puzzle games often have pieces they have to pick up and some dogs do try to eat such things and the other side is dogs getting frustrated when a game is empty, but not taken away. Hope this helped to give some extra info. Good luck with mentally engaging your pup!
